The only new thing in that Daily Bubble is indeed the toothpaste.

I'll be looking forward for more.

Remember one Teensie tried to invent chocolate toothpaste? Now that's a real toothpaste.

According to the person in charge of the Daily Bubble, this first issue is, as you have all seen, linked to the Gamescom trailer, but the next ones should bring their load of novelties. :)

another mind twister: in R2 Rayman never heard of BD, but in RO he's a friend of Polokus
PS: when will the new Daily Bubble come?

My theory is one of the following ones:

Chance 1 - Rayman never saw him in his (suppoused) real shape and by his real name.

Chance 2 - Forgot somehow with the time passage.

Chance 3. The game makers scrapped the idea of Rayman being unknown with Polokus and went with this instead, making the canonity in R2 invalid.
Chance 4. Bubble Dreamer isn't Polokus?

Sometimes, the Rayman lore is pretty messed up, so I always assume the makers don't bother themselves too much with it. I would love it if they gave it more attention though.

edit: Chance 5. RAYMAN LIED TO LY.

It was confirmed in an interview that Polokus and Bubble Dreamer are the same person.

Ly: Have you ever heard of Polokus?
Rayman: Umm...no
One line. One word. Not a big deal.

I didn’t say that Rayman lied to Ly. I said that the developers don’t have to keep Rayman from encountering Polokus in Origins just for the sake of consistency with that one measly word from twelve years ago.

Get used, Spanex.

But I wished that Rayman games were more cohesive like Mario's games. References, you know...

Exactly what I mean. Ubi seems to like discarding the original lore after a few games. They would do well making things a bit more solid.

How are the Mario games cohesive? As far as I can tell they’re all self-contained and feature very few references to previous instalments.

At least it exists references. The game series are also much larger.

But again, I would like the Rayman games to be more cohesive and just not to focus in every single game title's story.

I like this very much. True, nothing new, but if we wait we will probably get some funny news or something.
