Welcome to Pirate-Community, Lutalo ;) I personally enjoyed playing Rayman M too, eventhough it wasn't a platformer but just a side game.
About the Dark Rayman theme, I'm afraid I can't help you, L.M. Murphy, as I don't have the game :(

I bought Rayman Arena a few weeks ago, and although I haven't been able to play much since I've been just a malenky bit busy recently, I really enjoy it.

But I should try to get one of my friends to play it with me. I wanna try the multiplayer mode.

The multiplayer is pretty decent, it will help the game last a bit longer.

It's been a long time since I last played Rayman M, but the game was pretty fun when you played it together with someone, rather than playing it all alone. I should play it again sometime..

I kind of gave up on the single player when I couldn't beet Dark Rayman in the last challenge.

I wish I had that version, so I could Kick Dark Rayman's ass.

I had a great time with Rayman M...except on the Battle parts. I beat the c**p out of EVERYONE with the Teensies, but I can't even complete the first tier of races, while I completed every battle :P

The game can get really addictive at short duration, after that it cools down rather fast. Alone, RM is not bad, but multiplayer owns. Ever since I first switched the PS2 on, with RM in it, there had been dozens of HUGE battles between the unbeated Teensies, and the always losing Hunchman800 (my brother XD ).

The music is another plus, though nearly all levels have a recurring theme, it's still quite nice. Ray's and 800's theme are kickass. :D

My favourite Battle arena is definitely Ly's Palace. For one, it has the fairy on it, even though it's just a huge statue (it would have been nice to have her as a playable character...and maybe Clark XD ), and I always managed to get quite a few swares out of my brother when I use Ly for cover. :P

Overall, a pretty good game, but best when played together with someone. If you do it that way, it gets addictive at lightspeed! XD

Aw man....I haven't play Rayman Arena since Rayman ticked me off in one of the battles. I swear he keeps cheating. The fact that he laughs at me every time he gets an advantage doesn't help either. I'm considering switching my normal choice of the Teensies as my characters for Rayman instead the next time I play, to lower the frustration. I'm terrible at the battles. I rule at the races though.

I was a natural at the battles...nce I understood what to do. XD

But the races... *shivers* I completed two racing levels (just the race part), but couldn't do neither the third, or the other racing modes. :P

I guess I'm just naturally good at the racing parts because throughout my life I've played a LOT of racing games.

I suck at every form of racing. Always did, and probably always will. The only racing game I was good at was Star Wars Racer, other than that, Carmageddon...bthough I didn't exactly 'race' there.

Back when my Dad was still a gamer, we played a LOT of racing games against each other. He was always better than me back then. If he got back to practicing it, I'd still whoop him. Rayman M would only making it harder for him because of the shortcuts and such that I know about.

My Dad only played one racing game, but he liked that and was quite good at it, but me..nah. I always went for games that required other things than racing...that's how I got to play UFO,Jagged Alliance...and of course Jazz the Jackrabbit. :D

My favorite racing games are anything in the Mario Kart franchise. Always fun the throw a turtle shell at the player sitting next to you! 8D

It's really sad....John keeps whooping me at Rayman M when it's race time...he doesn't even LIKE that game!!

It's always weird when you beat everyone in a game you don't even like. :D

Grrrr....I'm still upset.....he's ahead of me by one race....we have the Wii plugged in now, so we can't do a rematch until the PS2 gets put back.

I have to wait until weekends so I can go home and play on the PS2...luckily, I have at least Hoodlum Havoc on the laptop. ^^

I went to a game shop not long ago and there was a huge box full of budget games. I could count about 50 Hoodlum Havocs and Beyond Good and Evils, at first try! XD

Dude...if they work on American PCs, could ya get me one!? XD American gameshops are greedy. They put an unfair price on everything, even old and used games.
