UbiART team is developing a software that is also being used to do Rayman Origins. It will be open-source this year.

Sounds pretty cool! Making stuff in Flash is just tedious even though it looks so simple!

I can't remember the link of the video I saw but it showed a fabulous demonstration of the potential of the software they are making and using in Rayman Origins.
