So, that is the amount for an all-nighter (weird that this was not mentioned in the first post).

I wonder if all-nighters should continue to be rewarded in future Record Days (considering what they do to people). Maybe there could be another incentive, like 500 Tings for every 200 posts (or something similar).

I would suggest that people try to focus more on post quality than Ting count when writing their posts. Remember, quality > quantity. Enjoy talking to other members instead of speedrunning and trying to be the last person to reply to every thread (even if you have very little to no input at times).

I agree with Steo... In the end this shouldn't be about spamming just because of the tings, but a fun way to interact with the community.

Probably because the same boiler-plate has been copy-pasted for over a decade, since before we even had that bonus IIRC

Well, the incentive came about because people were doing it anyway and we wanted to recognize and reward it. But you make a good point, when I think about it it's kinda similar to something that would probably be a breach of labour laws if it involved real money!
