Well, we were discussing a rather intriguing topic regarding a long lasting Sonic mysetery.

And that sadness me. DLC had the potential to be one of the best things to happen to gaming. But since Capcom ripped people off with it, it completely ruined DLC's reputation.
this is what i was refering to...

I dunno. Maybe he ment arguing over which Mega Man is better. Well I like every Mega Man except for Battle Network and Zero Series.

Either way, may I direct your attentions to what Sonicbrawler and I were discussing about after your Capcom rave:
Did someone tried asking MJ about Sonic 3 when he was alive?
Doubt it. It'd be impossible for some Sonic fan researching the subject to get anywhere near the man. Even someone who was part of a gaming publication would get nowhere (as that wouldn't make you any more credible than a normal person when interviewing someone who is big in the music industry).

Good point. As for Sonic 3 case, I am more for the story that he quit project because of how it sounded and that everything he did was in the final game but other people finished it.

It is an interesting little mystery, and I've been following the Pop Fiction series as they do look into stuff like that.

Credit to Sonicbrawler for posting the link, but I've been following the series prior to his posting, I must admit, it was neat to see that was the subject matter they decided to handle this time.

Completely unrelated to the Micheal Jackson thing, but I was wondering what you guys think of Sonic in the new Smash Bros?
I mean, I know everyone is hyped and excited because Mario VS Sonic VS Mega Man in HD is something that's happening, but I mean in terms of his moveset. His moveset is the same as his moveset in Brawl so far, with some tweaks to his properties. How did you guys find him in Brawl? Was he a character you enjoyed using besides the novelty of having Sonic in Smash, or did his moveset disappoint you?

Hm, I didn't really play as Sonic in Brawl, t'was more my bro.
One thing I'm glad about, is that they've tweaked his colour to look less 06 and more modern.

Sonic was my main in Brawl, I'm very happy that he's back. I hope he, along with Megaman, will be series veterans.

Unless Sega falls out with Nintendo (which I doubt will happen anytime soon), I'm sure Sonic will stay as a series veteran.
And with Capcom at the risk of closing down, and people wanting them to do something with Mega Man, and them not delivering, I'm hoping that Nintendo buys the IP or something (that'd help Capcom with their financial debt if they sold Mega Man to Nintendo). Because I think they could revitalise the series, and he looks right at home among Nintendo's cast of characters (as well as with Sonic). Heck, because of how true Mega Man's movements in Smash is to his own games, and because of how AWESOME his model looks, I honestly think an excellent Mega Man game could be made within the Smash Bros engine (which was why I hoped there would be an Adventure Mode in this game...we're not getting a story, anyway, but we do know the 3DS version has a platformer mode of sorts).
Sonic was my main in Brawl. I honestly thought he was underrated in terms of his fighting skills (I beat Boss Battles on Intense with Sonic). Yeah, his moveset could have more than variations of the spin attack, but all of his attacks are useful in some way. He is really one of the characters meant for veteran players, he isn't easy to use. With practice, though, he's a beast. And the overall faster pace of the new game should really give Sonic even more of an edge. I've already noticed improvements, and this isn't even the finished version yet (in his Miiverse post that revealed Princess Peach, Sakurai confirmed that the movesets shown off so far are not final).

Not having adventure mode is the only bad aspect so far.

Hm, I don't think it's a horrible loss, while the Subspace Emissary was fun, it wasn't anything spectacular.

I actually really liked it. It was more creative and varied than people make it out to be. It was especially good in co-op.
I was hoping they would do something similar again, while making the levels themed around the represented franchises, and adding in 4-player online co-op (and keeping the 2-player local co-op).
However, we MAY still get something. Again, we know there is a platformer mode in the 3DS version. And Sakurai confirmed that both versions will have a single-player campaign of sorts that is "separate to the VS game's mechanics". He only said he didn't want to make a story and cutscenes (his reasoning was pathetic though).
I just hope it isn't like Melee's Adventure mode. I want something with proper length. Smash Bros is a game that only comes about every 5 years or so. I think they should expand it each time. While this new game will be awesome, it runs the risk of having less content than Brawl does. I'll feel like something is missing if the overall single-player experience isn't as robust as Brawl's.
But the Sonic announcement has kind of made up for all of the negative announcements Sakurai has made.
