You might want to check with others, but I'm assuming stuff mainly related to the storyline, and the games ending (E.G. final world, ending cut scene etc.). That's what people like the avoid the most.stan423321 wrote:What is considered spoilers by the way? Just making sure so I won't go overtransparent.

Considering the fact that I'm sure everyone knows about The Reveal, I don't see the point in using transparent text. Also, the storyline in general is so vague and stupid that no one would realistically care.

I started watching a month ago, and I've seen about fifty episodes. Which one (or ones) did you watch? They vary greatly in quality, so you may not have gotten off to the best start.sergiomonty wrote:Recently, I watched Dr Who with a friend to know what's all the racket about said show.
It's okay... but not outstanding in my opinion. It's the kind of shows that makes me wonder "how did it get such a big fanbase?". Says someone who was a brony some months ago

Re: Rayman Legends
I was actually thinking the same thing as Sergio, my first impression was that it was an incredibly rushed, fast-paced and nonsensical show, which probably isn't the case for most of them(?). Where is a good place to start? It must be a decent show at the very least because I feel like one of the only people who knows virtually nothing about it.

But we're talking about Legends, not OriginsAdsolution wrote:Considering the fact that I'm sure everyone knows about The Reveal, I don't see the point in using transparent text. Also, the storyline in general is so vague and stupid that no one would realistically care.
Re: Rayman Legends
Your not alone. I know little to nothing about TV shows. That's partly to blame that American TV is will go so low to play adds every 3.5 minutes. And not when it works best, no, just randomly out of nowhere. I remember seeing this episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where they actually put adds before the last 10 seconds.Adsolution wrote:I was actually thinking the same thing as Sergio, my first impression was that it was an incredibly rushed, fast-paced and nonsensical show, which probably isn't the case for most of them(?). It's like that in a lot of shows around here.Keane wrote:Everybody Loves Raymond where they actually put adds before the last 10 seconds.
Re: Rayman Legends
Gotta hate American style advert breaks! The only show that's like that over here is Stargate SG1, but that's aired on Sky, which is owned by Fox, so....
Re: Rayman Legends
I hope the purple dragon will be present in the final game as a boss.

Re: Rayman Legends
The dragons in the current Legends are much more chubbier than those from the leaked screenshots.
Unless the chubby Dragon is merely one form of dragon that will feature.

Re: Rayman Legends
I think the chubbies dragons are simple enemies because there are several. The purple dragon is probably a boss because he is bigger than the others.
And I would like to say that the purple one we see on all images is the same dragon. He always appears in castle levels.

Dragon as the final boss? This is not the Hobbit! An appearance in the medieval level for sure but I'm expecting an epic boss battle.... magician NOT included.
Re: Rayman Legends
Regarding the dragon pics up ahead, you can spot the differences between these ones. I think that they'll be used as obstacles and things you avoid rather than fighting. A dragon as a boss could however, be very neat

Re: Rayman Legends
It really depends on your taste, a lot. I won't go into too much detail here for the sake of the on-topic discussion, so if you want to hear Master or me write whole essays on it to answer your questions, check out the Doctor Who topic.Adsolution wrote:I was actually thinking the same thing as Sergio, my first impression was that it was an incredibly rushed, fast-paced and nonsensical show, which probably isn't the case for most of them(?). People seem to say that the first Doctor they ever watch is their favourite, but that seems like a weird bias to me. My favourite one was David Tennant, and he's run for quite a good number of seasons. The best ones, I think, are probably the ones in which he stars with Catherine Tate, so I'd try that series to begin with. It's got the best acting between the two of them and the best stories as far as I can remember. I still like the intricate humour the scriptwriters had in his series better than the shallow variant they seem to have now, for example. There's more such comparissons from my side - but I'll spare you the details.
---
Now I'm the other end of the spectrum in regards with people who love spoilers, but what I myself would consider one is anything that could ruin my game experience by knowing about it beforehand. It can be anything like a minute detail about a character, to the most important event of the game.stan423321 wrote:What is considered spoilers by the way? But I'd ask of you to only exclude things like the ending of the game, who the boss is, what amazing plot twist you discovered etc.. The rest is my own fault if I spoil myself by reading it.
Re: Rayman Legends
Not as the final boss but just the boss of castle levels.Hoodlum1 wrote:Dragon as the final boss? This is not the Hobbit! An appearance in the medieval level for sure but I'm expecting an epic boss battle.... magician NOT included.
And why you say magician is not included ? He's in the game.

Re: Rayman Legends
Out of curiosity, do we have more than one leaked screenshot to support that The Magician is in the game? Seeing how things can be lost during development (such as Tar-Ray-Zan in Origins), is there more concrete proof that he will be in the final product?
Re: Rayman Legends
We can see him in a demo video from Gamescom :Master4lyf1 wrote:Out of curiosity, do we have more than one leaked screenshot to support that The Magician is in the game? I noticed that his hat has changed a bit, when we compares it in this video with the one on this old leaked screenshot :

Re: Rayman Legends
I like how a lot of people take "it's good but I don't find it epic" for "damn, this is awful". The production is fine, but again ,it's not my kind of show, it's just not that great...spiraldoor wrote:I started watching a month ago, and I've seen about fifty episodes. @Stan Here's a schematic list of what I can remind of:Electoon wrote:You might want to check with others, but I'm assuming stuff mainly related to the storyline, and the games ending (E.G. final world, ending cut scene etc.). - - Plot details, including how it ends the story/game
- Bosses, and how to defeat them
- Locations of the imprisoned Teensies
- Relevant characters that appear in the game that weren't revealed until now (Skins might be included here)
If I remind well the community stopped to use transparent text in the Rayman Origins topic after I being the last person that was missing to reach the end of the game.
