I used to have long hair until a year or 2/3 ago. I felt like "fuck it" and cut it all of.

Well, I must say, I was really attached to my long hair, so that's not the reason.
But on the other hand I'd always wanted to try out something new, as it had been long for as long as I could remember.
Long story short, the hairdresser cut it, and I just felt like a new person. It may have to do with the depressed feeling I was having back then and in order for me to change spiritually I needed to change physically or something? Lol, I don't know, that's deep XD
Anyway, lot has changed since and I feel way better than I did before, then again, the main cause probably isn't the hair, but nonetheless I see my "big make-over" as one of the better things in my life, so yeah, that's your answer.

Oh, I get it kinda. I also feel now like a different person. But for me it is in negative way.

I can sympathise with short hair feeling really nice. I've had short hair for over a year now, but it's time to grow it out a bit (I'm trying to approach chin-length, it's not that close yet):
