Because it was a spam thread. Amusingly, even the Hottest Rayman Character topic can provide some legitimate discussion.

I was actually going to make a legitimate discussion post just when you locked it.

The Luigi topic was easily going to have discussion. In a lot of topics, there is a lot of fooling around among the discussion. Hell, the creator was a Luigi fan, of course he was about to discuss it. :V

The thread was inherently terrible though, and bound to the flames Mordor upon its very arrival. If you want a Luigi thread, you can start a better one that actually promotes discussion if you like. :V

I know, I just think the lock was way too hasty. That's all I'm saying.

Though, I guess this is why this forum could use a board similar to the "Stuff & Nonsense" board that they have on another forum I use.

Not a terrible idea, it could just be a place where tings and post count aren't calculated, but I doubt it's anything that'll be added in at any point in time.
