Regarding the Magician discussion: maybe it's just his hat sitting there. It moves because the shadow Rayman is inside it, not per se because it's the actual Magician. Or maybe it's a shadowform incarnate - the ghost of Mr Dark from Rayman GBC? That would be a bit of a lame retcon.

Rayman Legends is so non-canon-ish that it doesn't need recurring villains... (the game is basically what Sonic & the Secret Rings is to Sonic Adventures)

The whole thing doesn't even take place in the Glade... the game deserves a brand new villain. Again, an artist villain would be awesome, as long as he is represented as a mysterious badass and not another Andre-Rabbid-Magician wacko.

Maybe each world [has its own villain, its own main baddie? Or maybe they chase him through all the worlds?]

I thought we might as well start putting the blanks in our texts now we've started speculating.
