Hmm... I believe the PSVita cuts off some of the screen at the top on Rayman 1 for some reason.
I think PSP does same.

That cheat doesn't work on my ps1.
The cheat I use in stress is the 99 lives cheat. Unfortunately, I can't get more than 0 continues anymore because of it.
And I felt like so much of a loser because of using it that I started a new game. And using my experience and knowledge of the levels from the previous one, I plan to beat this one with no cheats.
Though when I'm feeling down and need a pick-me-up, I use the Big Rayman cheat and enjoy the fun little animation before the main screen.

Pfff.. I didn't use cheats when I was younger and had nothing else but Rayman in my brain. I tell you, cheats aren't good method for training.

Actually, they are great for training. They don't make playing the levels any easier.

Worked for me. You can do it only if you have less than 3 clocks.

Does anyone else have a problem on the ps1 with the start button? Ever since I used up all the lives in the 99 lives cheat, I can't pause my game at all (meaning I can't use the cheat anymore if I wanted to).
The only time the start button works is when I use the Big Rayman cheat.

I don't have an issue with the start button, but I have the European version, and I believe from your description of the Big Rayman cheat you are using the American version. Are you using an emulator or playing on the actual console?
Also, shouldn't these cheats be on RayWiki?

Hm, they could be, I don't see why they shouldn't be.

I don't have an emulator, so, yes, American version on ps1 console. I use IGN for looking up cheats.

Works with American version I can confirm.
IGN is good place for cheats I agree.

IGN is "god" place indeed.
This takes me back to when I was a kid and the only internet access we had was through my Dad's office, he once printed out cheats for us to use on Rayman 1, though we never figured out how to get to Candy Chateau until I watched a video with a password on it on YouTube, by then, we had internet at home.

Hey, I need everyone's opinion on this if possible:
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/5z59eh6 ... /wip05.wav
It's my remake of First Steps from the Dream Forest, and for the purpose it serves, I need to hear from others whether it manages to capture the same spirit and atmosphere of the original. If there are any quarrels or criticisms you have with it
whatsoever (essentially, things you thought the original did better, or that you liked better from the original), even if they're extremely small and nitpicky, and even if you have trouble describing exactly what they might be, do share, as for the purpose it serves, it needs to be perfect.

I actually think that improves on the original piece in every possible way. I even watched some muted footage of Dream Forest from Rayman 1, and it fits in perfectly. Very well done.
No criticisms here, but if you haven't already, try playing the original level to your version of the song. It'll probably feel great!

I listened to it and it was beautiful. I am not a music expert so I don't know the best if there is some mistake, but I sure did enjoy listening your remastered Soundtrack. I hope you do whole R1 OST Remastered
