I've still been around lurking and such, I just don't post much.
Nothing really besides Pikmin, though I did beat Kid Icarus and KI: Uprising a few days ago.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Oh, ok. BTW Don't you agree there should be sequel to KI: Uprising?
I am still shocked that they confirmed they wont be making one. First game sold very good.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
A sequel on the Wii U with less linearity, more exploring, and some actual platforming would be nice.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Both Wii U and 3DS

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Uh, why? Uprising was great and all, but it really needs another console sequel, seeing as only the first game was ever a console game. It would open up so much more with controls too, like actually having a right stick instead of flicking the screen around.

You mean the game was just like "they will not control us" or something?JamesDNaux wrote: Uprising (...) like actually having a right stick instead of flicking the screen around.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Why? Because Maybe not everyone who owns 3DS owns Wii U as well.JamesDNaux wrote:Uh, why? I think the game thought it could be victorious over the player.Rulez wrote:You mean the game was just like "they will not control us" or something?JamesDNaux wrote: Uprising (...) like actually having a right stick instead of flicking the screen around.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
And? Either get one or don't play the game, it's rather simple really.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why? Because Maybe not everyone who owns 3DS owns Wii U as well.
Just because some people don't want a Wii U doesn't mean Nintendo has to cater to their every demand, they still need to sell Wii Us, and the way to do that is to make games for it. And of course, most of the people who have a 3DS would just get that version instead, so it would be better off exclusive.

So because I am a fan of some series I should be forced to buy new console? This is not like the time when Sly Cooper moved from PS2 to PS3JamesDNaux wrote:And? 3DS and Wii U are from same generation and if first game was on 3DS, the second one should too.

So please tell me how New Super Mario U is also on the 3DS, oh wait. You should know how these things work.OldClassicGamer wrote:So because I am a fan of some series I should be forced to buy new console? This is not like the time when Sly Cooper moved from PS2 to PS3

Also, the first game was on the NES, not the 3DS.

Nah man, they will not force you.OldClassicGamer wrote: So because I am a fan of some series I should be forced to buy new console?
Re: What games are you currently playing?
It was not because it was released in a same time when NSM2 for 3DS. None of those games are sequel to eachother. They are seperated.JamesDNaux wrote:So please tell me how New Super Mario U is also on the 3DS, oh wait. You should know how these things work.

And I do know first KI was on NES, I played it, but of course sequel is not going to be on NES because of time gap when it came. Bottom line, if sequel is comming in same generation when 2 consoles are avalible, it should be on both.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
There's no logic to a sequel being on both on those consoles. Making a console version would allow a second game to do much more with the Gamepad and add a great title to the Wii U library that will need to keep building up even after all the games announced at E3 this year. They wouldn't release it on both because the "poor fans that don't own a Wii U" because they don't give a fuck about that, and I don't think they should. Luigi's Mansion was a console game and the sequel wasn't. The reason why a game like Smash Bros. can do this is because they know the series has an incredibly large fanbase and many people including myself will buy both versions because being able to smash on-the-go AND a full new game in HD are both very appealing. Uprising, however, is a story based game with a smaller group of people desiring a sequel. Probably 90% of gamers prefer a story based game on a console because it gives a better experience, but a beat em' up is purely fun for its gameplay and can easily make both versions different by putting different stages or characters on other versions.OldClassicGamer wrote:It was not because it was released in a same time when NSM2 for 3DS. Besides, there are plenty people who do own both consoles. Both the 3DS and Wii U are marketed mostly for Nintendo fans.

Pretty much this, couldn't have put it better myself. Nintendo should never cave in to butt hurt fans who think they're entitled to certain things, people forget that first and foremost Nintendo is a company and it takes hard ass work for them to make games.Keane wrote:Logic.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Heh, yeah it's a hard game. But in general The Precursor Legacy is almost too easy compared to the difficulty of the last two. I think we can all agree with that one. When comparing both 2 and 3 I don't really think I can choose which one's harder for me, although I can say which one I enjoyed more and that would be 3 because 2 just seems too much like a Grand Theft Auto game. Minus the hookers. Ashelin? Nah, minus the hookers.JamesDNaux wrote:I just beat Pikmin 3, great game. Playing through it again to try and do better and 100% it.
Also noticed discussion of Jak 2 and 3, and I do agree, Jak 2 is harder, if only for that single fucking turret mission from hell.
