Couldn't RayTunes also make their own rip by simply turning off the SFX while in-game?

Sure they can but nobody did it before. Someone needs to pop up who will record all these tracks seperatly in best quality.

Hm, Droolie did say that he had plans to rip the Jaguar Soundtrack in time, however, I don't think that's his top priority in regards to RayTunes.

Incase anyone didn't notice, the uploader put a link to a download to the songs in the video description

Just wanted to let anyone know.

LOL, I did not even see. Looks like Droolie would not have to rip this one.
Anyways speaking of OST and Rayman 1, I just wanted to say I started uploading it on YouTube because I did Rayman 1 Let's Play (I upload OST of every Let's Play I do). Every day, I will upload 10 OST's.

Is the Jaguar Mr. Dark battle theme used in any other Rayman games? I swear I have heard it before...

It sounds pretty similar to the one used in the normal versions to me.

I was about to run Rayman 1 for PC on my 33Mhz 486/386 system, but I need more RAM in it. 3MB just isn't enough... need 8MB, dang it. Gotta wait on an ebay order now.

Maybe in some educational game. Not in main one.

You know you need to have an Intel Pentium 1 to get the correct speeds of 60 frames per second and a fluent intro clip. But you can use of course an Intel 486 processor to at least run it. Intel 386 isn't powerful enough.

I've been playing Rayman 1 for the Jaguar, and would really like to do a livestream of it, since it is so different from the other versions, and people can watch me fail due to the different physics/controls, and also since I am not used to playing Rayman 1 on a controller.

I know, but I like pushing things.
Also, I never had issues running Rayman 1 on my 486 50MHz AMD system, when it ran. Game play was perfect, but I can't recall about the intro video on that system in particular. Though my 133Mhz 486 was flawless with the game, intro clip and all.

Can anyone tell me how to handle the unrefined, unpredictable supercopter controls in the Atari Jaguar version of Rayman? The awkward controls (even more so than in the CD ports) always end up sending me spiraling into a spiky wall. -_-

I hated supercopter controls a lot in my Saturn Let's Play so I can't imagine how bad is it in Jaggy version :/

That's right. My top priority is getting the Rayman 3 soundtrack finished, and thanks to some bad stuff I'm currently going through, I won't be able to do that until summer holiday. Playing through the game and recording the Jaguar soundtrack is entirely out of the question.

I actually had no idea someone had uploaded the R1 Jaguar soundtrack until OCG told me today (thanks!). Since the quality is more than good enough, I have asked the uploader for permission to upload it on RayTunes.

So. For the first time in my life (Yes, the first. Go ahead and laugh.), I just defeated Rayman 1. Yay!
(Not much of an accomplishment, considereing I still have to get ten more Electoon cages in the save game where I'm NOT using the 99 lives cheat code.)
The problem is that now I'm disappointed. I never knew the game autosaved at the credits! Mister Dark's Dare is my FAVORITE level; if I'd known you could only battle Mister Dark once in the entire gameplay before never being able to do it again, I would have turned the console off before the Magician yelled out "You've done it; you've saved the WOOOORLD!" and started the level over again.
I don't want the level to end; I want to be able to go back to Mister Dark's Dare and do something OTHER than watch the credits over again! I know I could put in a set of passwords that could help me play the level whenever I want, but it's, like, 5 or 6 passwords and it takes awhile.
Anyone have any helpful advice for me? I'm playing on the Playstation version. Anyone have any cheat codes or something I can do to make sure the fun never ends? Just one cheat code, or even a set of two or three that could take me to Mister Dark automatically or make sure it doesn't autosave?

I don't have that much trouble with it in the other versions, but the controls are much, MUCH more sensitive in the Jaguar version. That and the glitchy, unpredictable hanging make the Jaguar version much harder (and more tedious) than the PlayStation ports (including the Saturn ver., PC ver., etc.)

And that brought me the death way too often.

Good lord they did it right with all other versions. It's like get other versions but not the Jaguar one!
