Well, it is pretty ridiculous to be buying a PS2 in 2012.

You won't believe how much the semi-retro gamers push and push and push you into getting one. They never stop, but I'm too lazy to give in.

Forget PS2, we have ports. :)

My old one broke. :( And if I still wanted to play all of those games I've accumulated over the years, then I had to get a new one. It's not like I'm buying a Phillips CDi or something, I just want to replay all of those games I've not been able to for about 2 years now.

60GB and 20GB PS3s can play PS2 games. I doubt one of those would have been too hard to find.

Then does the fact I bought a PS2 in 2009 is ridiculous?

I personally prefer to own physical disks. The PS2 is quite cheap nowadays if we compare to the first 3 years of PS2.

I originally had one of those preowned, but it stopped loading discs. :| Don't have much luck with technology, do I?

I heard many complains before about the PS3 retrocompactibility with PS2 games.

Much more expensive than a PS2.

So she doesn't go crazy on me if I do go ahead and buy something with it..

As for what's upsetting me lately, I'm not really sure what my life's purpose & calling is... I don't feel valuable at all and rejected..:(

Being doubtful about what to do with life 24/7 like me, who wouldn't be sentimental?

Haruka, let's check the target in question (the 'fixed' one, then):

Then does the fact I bought a PS2 in 2009 is ridiculous?

Magic stuff now:

Then is the fact I bought a PS2 in 2009 ridiculous?

Come on Des, I didn't see at the time I wrote it wrong. :?

Not quite. You left out the word ‘that’, which should follow ‘fact’.

Ah, seems so. But can you please tell me if the version I used would be okay? I'm aiming to have good enough grammar.

If your version had been OK, I wouldn’t have corrected it.
