Hihi, Rayraz-kun! Welcome to PC!
Sadly, I can't watch your videos, because I currently have no sound.

I get the impression, though, that you are anti-RO?

Oh, is that his message?
Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I suppose...

Couldn't disagree with Rayraz more though.

Awwwwwwwwwwww... that's so cuuuuuuuuuuuute...

I want that kid for my baby.
What's wrong with the Teensie Photographer? He looks awesome. A nice canonization there. Some people, eh?

No, not cute because Totally Spies was quite a shit cartoon.
Yeah exactly, what is wrong with making references to the old games like that I mean come on. The Lums having "crazy faces" is not new either.

Actually very, VERY cute because Totally Spies was quite a shit cartoon. Naivety suits the younglings.
Referencing older games is, in fact, the only way to make something canon. I wonder what Razzy-kun thinks would be an ideal R4 - complete retcon? (GOD NO Ubi, don't even think about it.

)

In response to those rant videos, Globox wasn't discovered in R2.
"Globox, my friend" was one of the first things Rayman said in R2.

"This is not Ubi, um...soft"
I actually got in an argument with the guy who made the second rant, mostly concerning continuity errors. He called me a dumb caveman and has since deleted the comments.

Some of the complaints people are leveling at 'Origins' are just plain silly. So what if Rayman is wearing his hoodie? Maybe Rayman 1 and 2 were set in the summertime, at which point Rayman opted to switch his hoodie for a scarf? Failing that, maybe he just felt like a change?
As for the Globox stuff, it could hardly be easier to justify. Rayman met Globox in 'Origins', didn't see him for a bit during the events of 'Rayman' and caught up with him again at the beginning of 'Rayman 2'. Easy peasy.

And maybe there happend something by which they seperated and rayman lost his memory or something and had to learn everything again in Rayman 1..

Sure, why not! This stuff is incredibly easy to justify if you actually want to. It's only the stubborn people who can't accept that someone else (in this case, the creator of the bloody franchise) knows more about Rayman than they do who find it to be a problem.

What I wonder is what those stubborn people actually
want from the Rayman franchise.

They want their own way, whatever that happens to be. It's selfish and closed minded; stupid even. If there's one thing I've learned from being a fan of various things, it's that you should always be grateful for what you get. Just because we're fans of Rayman, doesn't mean Ubisoft owes us a thing; when we buy their games we're doing it for ourselves, not for them

We've got a lot more from Ubi than other worthy franchises. We HAVE a game - Beyond Good and Evil fans are still waiting for one.

Exactly! Rayman Origins may not be exactly what some fans wanted, but it's sure as hell better than nothing, right?

Are people still complaining about a game that we were waiting for a (real) return for seven long years and that's how you are thanking the team that is working on it? Especially when Ancel IS on it? You are making a storm inside a glass of water too much early.

Some adorable little squidgy posted a rant he made about RO...

people shouldn't bash it until they've played it, in my opinion. We should be happy.

Because people are expressing to me and the others the opposite feeling. It's just, people are taking quick conclusions too much early! On Xmas we will probabily have the game available at least (I hope so, because I want this on PC) on PS3 and Xbox 360 and we will find out more stuff!
