Well, if this Jacques guy who has absolutely nothing to do with the original franchise said it, it must be true.sergiomonty wrote:Hahahahaha! Oh spiral, you so silly. The team said the complete opposite of what you said. Ok, I'll quote it for you so you can stop talking sheetspiraldoor wrote: Michel Ancel has made it quite clear that the series are separate and that they will not cross over again – but his word might not be enough to convince you, as you’ve made your views on the man quite clear.
IGN: Why did you decide to omit Rayman from the experience altogether?
Jacques: Not a day goes by without somebody asking us for a new Rayman game… He'll be back for more imaginative and fantastic adventures of his own before you know it, but not in RGH, which takes place among Humans.
In the meantime, the Rabbids really like it here in the real world and are here to stay… That is, unless they make it to the moon! But rest assured that the Rabbids and Rayman are still B.E.F. (Best Enemies Forever). They'll no doubt meet again...

I’m pretty sure that’s Jacques Exertier, who directed the cinematics of several of Ancel’s games.

Look I'm getting kind of tired of this. Can't we just have different personal canons and different predictions for the series and different theories* and JUST GET ALONG? This is a community, not a warzone.
The only statement that I will comment on is this:
---
* I don't care whether Mr Dark is a Teensie or a Glute tbh, we're going to find out the answer soon anyway so this is a pointless argument.
Now, I'm staying out of the rest of this discussion.

Still significantly lower on the list than Ancel himself, obviously.spiraldoor wrote:I’m pretty sure that’s Jacques Exertier, who directed the cinematics of several of Ancel’s games.
The Pirate Warzone sounds pretty cool though.MLII wrote:Look I'm getting kind of tired of this. Can't we just have different personal canons and different predictions for the series and different theories* and JUST GET ALONG? This is a community, not a warzone.

Well, I really just wanted to point out the flaw in Sergiomonty's argument, not stir up a flame war or anything.
Aside from this, is Jacques Exertier that guy with the pointy beard?

I don’t know what he looks like, but I’m pretty sure he directed the cutscene from which you took a screenshot to make your signature.El Dango wrote:Aside from this, is Jacques Exertier that guy with the pointy beard?

Is Jacques Exertier the guy on the left, or the guy on the right? We may never know.

Re: Rayman Origins
Thank you Jacques Exertier, for that awesome cutscene that allowed for my signature to exist, and who I didn't actually insult in any way rather than merely underestimating your influence on previous Ancel games. Amen.
Also, turns out the pointy beard guy is named Antoine Henry.

OH!! I was wondering what a flame war is since I saw this video a few minutes ago:El Dango wrote:Well, I really just wanted to point out the flaw in Sergiomonty's argument, not stir up a flame war or anything.

Thanks, I get it now!
I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in dickmode. You're so offensive right now, you bash everyone, even people who agree with you! I put that picture up as a joke, I actually agree with everything you said and don't mind if you post walls of text, but NOOO, you have to bash me if I try to make a joke, because your mind isn't advanced enough to process humour.spiraldoor wrote:Cry some more.iambored2006 wrote:walloftext.jpg

Re: Rayman Origins
You’re doing that thing again – you took a harmlessly disgruntled post to heart and burst out into a rant about it. I find dismissive ‘hurr durr you just posted a wall of text’ posts very irritating. Pointing out that a post is long isn’t funny – at all. I wonder what makes you so sure my post was not a joke as well. I’m not ‘bashing’ you any more than you were ‘bashing’ me. I guess my primitive brain is simply not advanced enough to process your sublime humour.iambored2006 wrote:I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in dickmode. You. Both of you.

If you feel the need to argue, do it via private messages, or such. Not everyone here wants to see argues.

Re: Rayman Origins
LOL. That's exactly what I thought when I wrote that post. Look, what I wrote before wasn't only because of this time. You tend to bash everyone when you enter a certain mode. It is annoying and sometimes I just can't take it. I'm sorry if I offended you earlier, and I want you understand that the picture I posted was purely for fun. I didn't mean to hint anything.spiraldoor wrote:Come on, we both know you can do better than that. So, I guess no news from PAX... that makes me a sad panda..

Re: Rayman Origins
Jacques Exertier is the guy on the left. The guy on the right is Xavier Poix (Studio Director of Ubi Montpellier, back in RRR-Times. But I don't know what he does today). (In the middle: Ancel & Peter Jackson)spiraldoor wrote:
