Re: Rayman Legends
True, the games did have a generally different overall feel, but Rayman 3 has its moments where it reaches Rayman 2's level.Raven_Guardian wrote:...It's not like the atmosphere and mood of Rayman 2 andKeane wrote:Well, I think it would be easily noted by now that Rayman will never have another game similar to the atmoshphere and mood of the 2/3 era, but I'm still 100% sure Rayman will return in another 3D game.

Thanks, Haru. :>Haruka wrote:Adsolution was quicker than me, and I reward her with 300 Tings for the creativity of her reply.
Thanks, Shroobie. :>Shrooblord wrote:Reveeenge of the Daaaaaaark!
As for an Ancel-made game, I doubt there won't be another 3D game. I just have a hard time seeing them go back to what was essentially a better idea.
Re: Rayman Legends
Ancel also guaranteed in an interview that he would still work in more Rayman games in future. Although I honestly would prefer the series to take a break after Rayman Legends and Ancel focusing in BG&E2. Then it could appear the possibility of a new 3D title.

Re: Rayman Legends
I concur, let's have BG&E 2 after RL, 'tis time for Jade to return.

Re: Rayman Legends
You're reminding me too much of the absolutely beautiful R4 concept art, which got cancelled, it's such a shame, because it looked like it TRULY had potential.GNineify wrote:Hmm, if you ask me, I think the next 3D Rayman game can possibly be as good as R2/3. They used the concepts of the older Rayman games as a reference when making the atmosphere of Origins, but just not well enough and probably not too well in Legends either. I hope they'll take note on this especially when it's time for a 3D game.
And I do agree with Master4ly1, if a new 3d Rayman game is being brung to the table, I'd rather wait tul e3 2014, because 2013 seems too fast to already announce another Rayman game. I loved Beyond Good and Evil 1, so a sequel, really would be great!
Re: Rayman Legends
I haven't tried BG&E (And I will only be able to try once I'm older), which really sucks. Looks like an awesome game though.

Re: Rayman Legends
It's never too late, the game is already available in a great variety of platforms, I've only played the HD remake, but I've been considering the normal version on steam if it's any good.

Re: Rayman Legends
The game is rated 7+ here, I don't know what ratings are like where you're from Schmooky, but if you were in England, you'd be able to play Beyond Good and Evil.
I've played quite a bit of Beyond Good and Evil, unfortunately, my laptop couldn't handle it well, and I ended up giving up since performance was terrible.

Re: Rayman Legends
Overall though I must agree with Haruka, I truly don't think any new Rayman game will have the beauty that Rayman 1 and 2 had, it's just seems really unlikely to me, but hopefully I'm wrong.
Re: Rayman Legends
For me, it's a T rating. Which stands for Teen, also short for Teenager. The only T rated games I've been able to play are Prince of Perisa The Forgotten Sands, and Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy.Master4lyf1 wrote:The game is rated 7+ here, I don't know what ratings are like where you're from Schmooky, but if you were in England, you'd be able to play Beyond Good and Evil.
