Rayman 3 went all modern and stuff when released.

It did - I would've liked its beta style more, though I still like how it turned out.

Rayman 2 design is still best 3D design of Rayman.

I want R1 HD with the proper Moskito colours of the Jaguar version, the proper Bad Rayman colours of the PC version, the soundtrack of the PlayStation version, the cool animations of the Saturn version and a difficulty setting to choose between the maps of the PC and PlayStation versions!

Very good idea, though I disagree with this:
PlumGMK wrote:a difficulty setting to choose between the maps of the PC and PlayStation versions!
...because it would be pointless because the 2 are very identical( with only has the cages and collectibles at different locations, while the maps are the same ), AND they are both damn hard for... y'know, average ( bad :P ) players.

My idea is, simply put, have an easy and an original difficulty ( hard ), the easy is set as standard, and you can unlock the hard difficulty after completing the game, OR as you progress through it.

sry long posst

Unlockable difficulties are the way forward; I'm planning them for my game also.

I kinda digged it though, at least Ray didn't crash the way Banjo did when modernizing.

I never really minded Ray's redesign, even if his personality could have been a little more complex, but it's not like he's much more than a talk Mario in Ray 2.

The difficulty level of both PS1 and PC versions of R1 is the same, believe it or not. While the cages are harder to find on PC, there are more Life-Statues to be collected; and vice-versa.

is that so? I was curious why I kept finding lifes everywhere on PC version
