Yeah, it looks really good!
I love how the plant-life is very lush. It makes the environment more immersive!

Grass looks great, but my attention was more drawn by the fungi, which look terrific!
EDIT: By the way, if you need me to do any translating, send me a PM, and I'll be at your service!

Oh, yes, Decidetto, thanks for reminding me. RayFan, remember the critique I posted earlier about your video? There was something I noticed about the way he sprinted that looked really off to me, if you don't mind me saying. His feet waded to the side, like a frog's do when swimming. His hands had a similar motion and it was all so sped up that I couldn't help but think it was in some way unintentionally slapstick. I'm very sorry to word it this way - I feel very mean for doing so, but this is the only way I can clearly indicate what I mean. Remember that when you sprint, you keep your legs relatively close to the sideways horizontal line they were already on. Only trying to help out here - I do so much love your work so far.
Also, translation-wise, I'd like to help as well. The worst thing about Dutch translations is that usually, the language used is die-fugly, when it was beautiful in the original version.

He's literally falling into pieces :p nice.
I have a question RayFan : have u done something about the mimes of Rayman ? u know, when the player leave him inactive during several seconds, he started to do some movements in the previous games (i'm especially thinking about when he was facing a mirror in R3). How many movements did u planned to give to him ?

I'm working on them. I'm planning on making 6-8 different idle animations, which would include many favourites from the first, second and third games.

Didn't you already make some? Including the incredibly funny "hand falling off" one?
Also, the ragdolling looks cool The body parts are invisibly connected though, aren't they? Because on the third fall, one would expect the body parts to scatter a lot, but they remain quite close together. I think that If (Dark) Rayman would be dead, the connections between his body parts would cease to exist, so they could scatter freely. But I completely understand if this would be too difficult, seeing how you would probably have to make individual rigs/whatevers for each body part.

Not too difficult at all. I merely uploaded this video at the first sign of any sort of ragdoll function working. Though, I want Rayman to ragdollise like a normal human, sometimes his parts will completely get blown off and scatter depending on the type of death.

Ooh, that certainly sounds interesting
Though mildly violent as well
And what was that about the idle animations? I thought you had some made already (as I said just now)?

Those were old and shitty. They neither work with my current rig nor were they of any sort of quality. The tossing-head one was decent though.

I think that there's nothing wrong with the quality; all animations are nice and smooth and, above all, very original! (The only bad thing I could think of is when Rayman moves his hand through his hair, he literally moves it through it without the hair bending back.) The "falling hand" one is definitely one that you should not let go to waste by any means.
But hey, if they don't work with your current rig, I guess there's nothing you can do but make some new ones (and remake the "falling hand" and "juggling head", of course! )
