Won't be hyped too much just to have cancallation killing the hype in the end like it was case for the past years. I will actually wait for this to be released and then enjoy in hype afterwards.

Jeez, why do you have to be so pessimistic all the time? -_-

I am never optimistic about Capcom. They ruined multiple years for me.

This is the same guy who anticipates a new Crash Bandicoot title every E3, lol.
I'm quite sure that this will get released. This is an EASY cash grab for Capcom, they'd be really fucking stupid to cancel it.
Aside from Megaman, what did Capcom ruin? In the recent years they've been doing some pretty awesome things, Resident Evil 1 got an HD remake on STEAM (and Resident Evil 0 is headed next year), Devil May Cry 4 is getting a re release on STEAM, and now the Megaman collection. Let's just be optimistic for now.

Hey come on, you don't need to be so picky on him only because he is sharing his bad view on Capcom.
And they won't release it on Wii U! How can they!

Yeah, that's a really odd decision. Luckily it will be on the 3DS, and likely the best way of playing the NES Megaman series on the go.

Hmm, I do wonder what this HD twist is they were talking about...

From what I can tell its just means that the pixels won't be blurry as it''ll be running through HDMI.
and say what you will about not being released on wii U, that confuses me too, but I'm more confused as to why there isn't going to be a Ps Vita port, I mean, I understand why, its that no one cares about the Vita even though unpopular opinion incoming it's far superior to the 3DS, in every aspect except the amount of notable games. I mean, I don't know how many of you have seen shovel knight in action on the vita, but it looks gorgeous, it looks so crisp and clean and it would look the same for the Megaman ports, and granted, I doubt anyone cares about graphics in 8 bit games, but you know what it would still be nice to have and I'm not gonna lie I feel like its a dick move from Capcom to not release a game that could easily run on both consoles that need the most love right now. Long story short, you just read a rant on John saying the vita is the most underrated handheld of all time, and really needs more love and needs it soon, arguably he'd even call it the dreamcast of handhelds.

I hope it's similar to the Taxman remake of Sonic CD. Megaman getting that treatment would work well.

Yeah, I'm totally getting this for 3DS. But I already have Mega Man 2 on there. Still won't make not purchase this.

Screwed up over some little extra bonuses? Wouldn't call that screwing up to be honest.
In that case, owners of the original games got screwed over as well

In terms of pricing, they got screwed a lot. Calculate how much it cost when you buy first 6 Mega Man games on eShop and when you buy this Legacy collection.
Owners of original games didn't got screwed up since many years passed since they were released so it does not count. Plus if they are not collectors they can always sell them on eBay and make a huge profit.

On the brightside, you'll get updated visuals (possibly 3d support) without the rather dull Virtual console layout. I never expected anything like this to happen though, so they better give good reason to justify why people who bought some of the VC megaman games should buy this instead.

Is everyone forgetting the engine is being reworked entirely?
Original owners do not lose out, as they own the original cartridges. Those who bought them on VC.... kind of were.
Anyways yeah, I'm not too keane on them excluding Megaman 7 and 8.

Megaman Legacy feels like (another) betrayal from Capcom. Weeks before E3 there were rumors that Megaman Universe wasn't dead and would be presented, plus a brand new, 100% 3D remake of Megaman X, also presented at E3. But we get a HD compilation (which doesn't mean anything for 8-bit era graphics) with less games than anniversary collection. So, yeah...

I didn't know about those rumors. Now that I know about them, Mega Man Legacy indeed feels like another betrayal from Capcom. It's not even widescreen supported, come on Capcom!

Why the fuck would you want to play an 8 bit game in a 16:9 ratio, jesus christ.
You're a VERY strange person OCG.

So that it doesn't look like stretched shit?
Sonic CD remastered also had widescreen support. Even though that was 16-BIT.
