Well this new task will probably be extremely fiddly to fix.
EDIT:
Wait, no, nevermind, I fixed it in 20 secs. I forgot about soft selection on vertecies.

Much better!

Kind of actually. Now that I look back, the wavy eyes did kind of have an "emotional" effect that isn't there anymore.

Well, like I said, here's the new part 8 of the soundtrack. (Wow, part 8 here after starting with part one in February.)
IT'S STILL BEING PROCESSED, SO CHILL BECAUSE THE SOUND MIGHT BE BAD
1. "The Dream Forest" - 0:00
2. "The Dream Forest: Urky Murky" - 1:28
3. "The Dream Forest: Brawly" - 2:34
4. "Starlight Peak: Fun in the Snow" - 3:17
5. "Introduction Cutscene" - 5:20
6. "Main Menu" - 7:37
The Introduction Cutscene music was inspired by Danny Elfman!
Fun in the Snow is a scene where after Raygirl saves you and you jump across the floes to shore, she starts running through the snow, and you say "where are you going?" and she replies "follow me!" And you're running through the snowing hills, between the rocks of Starlight Peak until you break through the last trees and you see beautiful Auroras in the sky, in which it then plays Raygirl's Melancholy theme found in the last track of part 7, "Raygirl's Lights".

These tracks are goddamned gorgeous. Though your Rayman/Raygirl dialog reminds me of SMG. That's not a bad thing though!
The funky, jazzy melodies of the Dream Forest really capture Rayman 1, but the others are also very impressive. Yayness! Keep it up!

Yeah, the music in this is going to be awesome.
No, let me rephrase that: it already is.
You managed to mix a lot of the Rayman music with your own themes, which is great.
I really love the Fun in the Snow theme.
I like the introduction too, but I think it's too much of a copy of the Ice Dance theme from Edward Scissorhands ( the one that was on the R3 disc ). Saying it's "inspired" by Danny Elfman doesn't help that.
And the menu theme is superb too, and...
... well let's just say everything is fantastic.
Congrats

Thanks a lot everyone! You have no idea how much your comments help inspire the music!
@Jewish Candy:
I know what you mean by Super Maio Galaxyish It's supposed to have very movieish cutscenes and gameplay. I'm sure you might be able to guess what The picture in my head is for this scene, I think.
@Drolpiraat:
Okay... very heavily Inspired by the Ice Dance theme.
And before I uploaded pt 8, I had actually done three tracks that I planned to have in part nine, but I decided I wanted to group them. I'll give you a hint, one of them is at the beginning of the "trailer".

I'm not so sure - I see the little Mermaid waking Eric up, turning into a glowing bunny rabbit and asking him to "COME ON! JUMP WITH A!!" That said I am on shish right now. If it's anything like that though, the whole game will end up awesome.
I really enjoy 'movie' games (not tie-ins, you know what I mean), so ROTD sounds even better now. Just a question - will the game play in letterbox mode? Because that would totally enhance the cinematic feel of it.

Letterbox mode? Don't know what that means.
But the picture in your head was totally off mine, lol.
It's supposed to be one of those things where it's like where you're running through fantastic snowy trees trying to catch up to Raygirl and the Fun in the Snow music is playing. It's basically like a cool friendly fast chase. I don't know how to describe it more.

Letterbox mode is the kind of screen you get a a movie - longer than it is high, if you know what I mean. Look through your average letterbox to get the best idea. Many games use this for cutscenes, but the more story-driven, immersive ones often have letterbox in the gameplay too, as it makes the whole game flow a bit more - the cutscenes and play work together as one, and both parts feel cinematic.
Ah, I see your vision now. Nice. I'm guessing there are no enemies in this section? It's just a gentle, friendly, snowy chase? Because relaxed moments like that should be mandatory for all adventure games.

Nope. Although widescreen uses it.

Yeah, Beyond Good and Evil is an example of a game completely in letterbox mode.

Michel's really into that kind of thing, isn't he? What with the lack of health gauge in King Kong as well... Then it would be even better for ROTD to be in letterbox mode.

Comming back to piranha, i wonder how it would look(maybe better) if you made it's hair a little flatter just like rayman from rayman 2

The game has letterbox cutscene, the gameplay does not. Although in some parts, it will include vignetting (where the screen fades around the edges to give a realistic and immersive feel).
But also, I'm just clarifying the technical aspects here:
• Resolution: Spans anywhere from 128x128 to a realizably unlimited resolution.
• Windowed: This game can be played in a window or fullscreen.
• Anti-Aliasing: Yes, this game supports up to 16xQ Anti-Aliasing.
• Vsync: Vsync option is available. This is an option that prevents the screen from creating a "ripping/tearing/line" in the middle when in fast motion, although it may cause very, very slight delay.
• Graphics: Will have six different graphical levels. They can also be tweaked manually for each graphical aspect if you're in advanced mode.
• Colour correction: Includes brightness, contrast, and gamma control.
Holy crud, I feel like I'm writing an N64 instruction booklet!
@Tenderz:
Tried, and it didn't make much sense and it looked weird.

No, I actually revised the names of all the tracks. You might want to take a look through all the names again. The "Theme" thing is now the first track in the credits music.
