Argh! I was planning to spell Rhook correctly! Why did it go wrongRayFan9876 wrote:@Decidetto: Ah, that makes sense.I had actually come to a very similar conclusion over night, but I don't think I was able to explain before about why it should come after. I'm planning it to kick in during the second half of the Rhook-Rayman conversation.
@Video: Nice! But... wrong fucking video! Agh.
EDIT:
Holy Jesus, my August update just went from 3000 views to 4500 overnight.
"Rook" is the crow-like bird; a disgrace to Rhook's name!

Bah, Decidetto the ninja.
Out of curiosity, where did you get your name from? I wonder if I'd be able to name an enemy after you.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
It was a random thought, some days after playing a lot of Worms 2. Well, the rest is history
EDIT: But no copyright infringement would occur if you were to use it (the Worms 2 thing is just something that stuck with me
). Instead, I would be honoured!
ANOTHER EDIT: Now that you're speaking of enemies: I've made another enemy design! I will have to redraw it before uploading though, because I couldn't find my pencil sharpener anywhere while drawing it, so it looks slightly indiscernible right now.

I'll try to redraw it as soon as possible, but I don't really know if I'll have time this weekend, and during weekdays I'm generally busy
But what happened to your tings/rank??

Okay.
I like how throwing away half of one's tings is the only solution then

I think she deposited to some storage account.
I don't think I'll ever need one. Unless say, the highest rank will be really stupid.

Ah, never thought about that. Having a storage account would be quite useful for doing that!

Awesome - KOMPLETE ULTIMATE! I've already been able to create amazing sounds with just the 'kiddy' KOMPLETE Elements; I can only imagine what one could do with a library like ULTIMATE. I look forward to seeing what you'll do with it. Have you ever tried out any KOMPLETE instruments before? If not, you're in for a real treat.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Are you planning on remaking all the music you've made so far? I figure it depends on how big of a difference it is. If the difference is too big I figure you will have ti renake all the music you plan to keep. Othwise you would have a large portion of music that wouldn't sound as realistic as the rest. However this is just what I think.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
I'll only for sure be remaking a lot of pre-Part 12. At most, I'll rarely remake any current tracks but might swap out instruments for some higher quality ones if need be.
Remember, not all tracks will make it into the final product, but I'll fit in as much as the post-level design will allow.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
The easy thing with VSTs is that essentially, all of it is MIDI, so that if you get new (better) instruments, you could just swap one out for the other, maybe even make a preset for the ones that you're using in every song so that you can have the exact same instrument (if you so wish) with the exact same effects and tweaks applied to it in the arrangement of music you already created.
Oh yes, RayFan. KOMPLETE is amazing. I'll be checking out SoundCloud's legal notes (something I meant to have done a long time ago) soon and if I like what I read, I'll upload my piece there (and open the link in my sig (finally)) so you can all hear what I did by using KOMPLETE. So far, everyone I've played it has thought it's amazing (may I just express the rare case of arrogance I will once in my life have:) and I think so too - I know that I think that; I've listened to it countless times and not one part of it bores me yet. I can't give all the credit to the instruments (continued arrogance), but I must say it was far easier thinking about what to do with a flute, for example, when I heard the actual flute playing. Immediately, I was able to add in those typical flute-like 64th notes that you sometimes hear when they transition from one tone to another, simply because it sounded right when I played it. I love the sound of KOMPLETE. Many may disagree with me, but I myself even have trouble hearing that it's synthesized - the quality of it all is so amazing... anyway, you'll have tons of fun with it, I'm sure!
