What surprised me the most was probably the omission of the wall-jump technique. I always thought that was a neat little ability in the PC version, even if I rarely used it. Odd that they removed it.
Not odd at all, the wall jumping in Rayman 2 is a bug.

No it's naht?

Oh, I see. You're talking about jumping between two walls. Yeah, it's a shame they removed that, it was pretty neat indeed.
By "wall jumping" I thought you meant jumping against one wall, which is possible too but that's a bug. ^^

Ah yes, that fellow has quite a few tricks, I believe he speedrunned Rayman 2.

Is it wrong for me to say Rayman 2 will always be my favorite Rayman game in the entire series?
(And yet I still can't believe how many freaking remakes Ubisoft needs for that game.)

It isn't a wrong thing to say, because I have the same opinion. Ubisoft would have a really hard time if their goal for the next Rayman game would be making it my new favourite Rayman.

Oh thank you and goodness then! I have the same exact opinion! And it's not just my favorite game because it's the first in the series I have played in my life.

I can safely say that I played Rayman 1 first before meeting Rayman 2, and the sequel only made me getting a even bigger fan than what I was already.

Rayman 2 seems to be the general favourite here, so if anything, you're probably in the majority.
I too experienced Rayman 1 before Rayman 2, though I beat Rayman 2 long before beating Rayman 1.

Rayman 2 Dreamcast will always be my 2nd fav.
Although I want 2D Rayman 1 styled version was created too. Perhaps as a spin-off?

What's with the typos, OCG? I know English isn't your first language, but it's bugging me.
The Rayman 2 2D prototype, while having potential, really, I doubt would have projected Rayman anywhere near as far as the final thing. Besides, there's Rayman 3 GBA if you essentially want Rayman 2 2D.

That's my opinion too. I got many comments on my YouTube video of people affirming "this should have been the real Rayman 2, and it would have been better", but people tend to forget this is only a fragment of a title in development, that doesn't reveal its final product. It could either have been good or not. Anyway, I think Ubisoft did well in taking the risk of going 3D.

I'm sure it would have been good, knowing Rayman 1 was an amazing game, we'd expect a game with the same style to be even better, like in the case of Rayman Jungle Run and Fiesta Run.

I was on iPhone, 3:18 AM. Typo like that would not happen during day.
Smaller one, maybe

But it's mostly because I do not check post after typing it and not because I don't know how to say it.

Except it's not the first time, do you type on your phone often?

During the night, yes. Because computer would disturb others because it's noisy

Hm, fair enough, I guess.
I just use my laptop at night, it's not too noisy at all.

My posts at times recently have also been a bit sloppier and unrefined (phrasing too), as I often only have my phone handy, like now. The more you do it, the more you realise what a waste of time it is having to lug back and correct little things on your phone, so I just stopped doing it (unless it's imparative to the meaning of the post). Sometimes I'll go back through a couple of my last phone posts once I'm at my computer to fix them up.
