Do you mean trills, or maybe slides? I'm not totally sure what you mean.

You probably mean sampled, not synthesised, since synthesised would imply that no recording was involved.

But awesome! I can't wait to hear what you have to upload. I'll be honest, a lot of YouTube demonstrations are rather crappy or don't make good use of the library, so I totally am anticipating yours. :)

Yeah, I guess it's a trill. It's a bit of an awkward thing to have to describe. You'll see when I upload my piece. Now I have my computer back (it was broken before), I can look up the rights on SoundCloud and see if I like them or not.

Ah, true! Most instruments, like the strings, brass and percussion have been recorded, though there are many synthesized instruments in KOMPLETE. In fact, so much part of KOMPLETE is synth library, something I would probably only rarely use, that I've come to believe that I'd much rather buy the one or two assets of the series that I really want (Session Strings, Percussions, the occassional grand piano) than attempting to purchase the whole lot. I probably wouldn't even know what to do with half of them, and most of my money would then go to waste, which would be a shameful thing to happen for such rich a library that is KOMPLETE. I hope you'll be able to enjoy it to its full extent though - I sure am enjoying the hell out of the little bit of KOMPLETE I get from my KOMPLETE ELEMENTS bundle.

I can't wait to put it up! I hope you'll like what you hear; I do so very much enjoy it myself. It's quite rich, considering I only used a few instruments: brass ensemble, string ensemble, Abbey Road 60's Drum Kit, SteamPipe Flute synth, nylon guitar, bass ... that's about it, really. Anyway - you'll hear more from me soon. Also watch my sig; the moment that SoundCloud icon turns green, the piece will be up.

Does anyone here have any idea how to present an idea for a music track?

Use whatever words or modes of description that come to mind. It doesn't matter whether they're coherent or strange, chances are that I'll understand it well enough. Besides, I've never had a music request before. This should be interesting.

What of a sound request?

I think the grandfather clock in Temporal Palace should ring the Rayman 2 theme every once in a while. Just as a fun little easter egg.

That suggestion is cool. I haven't been thinking about sounds as easter eggs before

Then allow me to introduce you to a famous one:

I'm sure Rayfan will include some easter eggs of her own design.

That musician surely loves to leave a "musical signature" in the games that composes music. :P

And as you might have seen already by looking at my signature, my SoundCloud account is up and running! And here's the piece I was talking about. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do (or more!)!

Man, that's awesome! Those drums and that nylon guitar, they sound so incredibly good.... I guess the good news on top of that is that I'll be getting Komplete in three days. Thanks for the awesome early preview! :D

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Yes, RayFan, I must admit I love the sound of the Abbey Road 60's Drum Kit as well. You will be getting the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's Drum Kits too. I wonder what they all sound like.

Thanks Haruka! :)
Do you understand what I meant by the flute thing now, RayFan? It's got very rapid notes in my piece; anyway - the point is that it is far easier creating music for a certain instrument if you have that instrument available so you know exactly what it'll sound like.

Done as request but may change!
This is also my first attempt at bumpmapping, but it's only obvious on the top of the leaf crown

I can see some ragged edges on the leaves too, if that's what you mean. I like it! It needs a little more depth in the leaves, yeah, but it's good so far!

Thanks Spanex, it's awesome! :D

I just vertically stretched the leaves a bit because it looked a bit strange from the side and tossed on the MeshSmooth modifier, and voila:

I know it doesn't have that angular deviation that the original has (which would have been nice to keep), but it just looked kinda strange in the engine.
