That's got to have contained an insane amount of balls, kudos to the dev team!

Seriously, Ubisoft doesn't respect Michel Ancel as much as he deserves... Isn't Rayman supposed to be Ubisoft's mascot?

Maybe, maybe not. I've heard some people say he is, and some people say he's not. So I think it's just an unanswered question.

I'm pretty sure he was the old mascot of Ubisoft, but it seems that more people would see someone like Ezio or the Rabbids as Ubi's mascot rather than Rayman.
Rayman's who I always think of when I think Ubi, though.
...
I just had a thought. If Legends was released on PC, it'd be released through Uplay, right?

Origins is available on disc and Steam as well, so perhaps Legends could be an exception too.

I hope that those who were giving the faults to the developers team, check out the photos and retire what they said.

Uh oh, Alphaomegasin has joined the pissed off crowd.
I won't lie here when I will say I am rather dissapointed by its delay, but I don't want to sit here and go all pissed off at it, it is there decision, so we'll just be patient, and hopefully, with such a long wait, it'll be worth it.

More pictures ;-)
Its nice how they included yves guillemot's name
The Image was drawn by Joffrey Babilotte who is not part of the team if I understand it right, what on Facebook were posted.
I'm not sure if he is the one one the picture.
The photos are all to find in the photo gallery of ubisoft: https://www.facebook.com/ubisoft/photos

So... who manages the company's Facebook account? Surely Ubisoft itself would not post pictures detailing critique against it... would it? This is all starting to sound very Minitrue.
I think we'll have to employ our powers of doublethink for this.

I've never been on facebook, perhaps there is a way to link photos to Ubi?
I don't know.

Yes everybody can post photos there. This isn't PR. The protest is real. BTW Joffrey Babilotte, who draw the picture, is just a rayman fan. He is the one who holds the sign.
edit: They do not really protest (maybe you have imagined that already). It just looks like they do. Joffrey Babilotte just holds his sign and got shot with michel ancel and a part of the dev team. But its funny how every gaming side thinks they protest

So this means that a fan drew that and went to Montpellier to protest and the developers decided to join in? A brave act, like Stace said but then, the delay wasn't their decision and they are as much devastated as the fans, knowing that all this effort to make it to the end of February was in vain.

I think it's a very smart way of conveying thoughts; there is no real indication that the dev team is actually protesting. For all we know, they could be cheering because they want to commemorate the artist's 'excellent representation of Rayman', not because they agree with the picture's statement. And so the devs can say to the fans that they support them, and to Ubisoft that they abide by them, even if they say that indirectly by means of just pictures.

It must take some real guts to go out and do that. Though at the same time, awesome to see some people speaking out for it.

I'm sure Microsoft's policy about games being released on the same date only applies on XboxLA games. If Michel Ancel supports this, it's because it is possible to make a change. Ubisoft probably just thought about: $$$$$$ instead of thinking about the actual fanbase.

So while going through the facebook page, I think I found a rather weird post... not sure what to make of it, but I want you guys to judge, it's basically what I would assume a fathers kid who is very upset with RL being delayed it seems. I'm honestly not sure what to make of this, which is why I'm asking what you guys think of it.
Maybe if I were a kid I would cry too. Tell me how many kids are in the world that cry when they do not have their wills accomplished at the moment they want? Almost all in the world.

The kind of response I was looking for actually, as said before though, I'm mostly not sure what to make of it. I mean how I should kind of feel towards it mostly. I just wanted to hear few of others thoughts on it, since I'm not sure- I feel like making a post about it in terms of trying to convince Ubisoft is kind of well- in my opinion- rather silly, but that is just me.

Upset Wii U users can even post a ton-fest of puppies and kitties on Facebook but that won't change the release date of the game.
