I know I can post the image directly here on RPC, I just prefer this one to be linked for reasons I suppose.
I think that Facebook post is a total joke. The kid was clearly very excited, and it's great that the parents seem to be excited that the kid is excited, but to go as far as get ragingly upset like a kid would from a delay? Stupid. They should instead be teaching their son that these things happen, and posting a picture of an overly-attached crying child is not going to persuade anyone; next thing you know they're going to sue Ubisoft for designing a game about the tooth fairy being imaginary.
Bradley's reply is even worse, by the way.

I am aware, none of this will convince them to place back the normal release date, but hey, on the good news I have tons of stuff to occupy me. Right now I'm still remastering those Rayman 3 scores for myself, but for once I actually need help on the Tower Of The Leptys, my combos I'm not happy with so I restart a bit. If you don't mind me asking Haruka, how is the progress on that remastering video of yours?

^ Essentially this.
It's so silly when people try to guilt large companies into doing something just because a child is upset about it. Unless it's doing serious harm to children they aren't going to give a flying fuck.

And so the devs can say to the fans that they support them, and to Ubisoft that they abide by them, even if they say that indirectly by means of just pictures.
Are you sure?

This comes from an article stating they protest the choice.

I wonder how else they plan to go about the protesting, if at all. I don't know how protest laws in France are, but I know that some places the dev team could just flat up refuse to work until their basic need/want is met. In this case it could just be the Wii U version being released any time before the new announced date.

I am doing a small break before recording that level, the last one before finishing the remastering and move on to Rayman By His Fans. The first part is probabily the worst thing to record because of some chaotic combos on it and tricky to perform correctly. It is very tiring. The second isn't as much hard but it is mostly long. When I record these two parts, the worst is over and all the remaining parts will be much quicker to do. I will try to have this done before Spring but I will inform here when I get the last video ready.

In France you can choose not to work if you are protesting against a law or a decision of your company (this is a right established in the first part of the 20th century). The duration depends of you and how you can be satisfied by the next decisions. However, you won't be paid during this period (obviously). If you can't proove your movement is based upon a good reason, you can be fired because you don't do your job.
But I think they love wht they are doing. The pictures are there to show people that this is not the decision of the team to delay the release date, that they are very sad and asked for fans not to be angry against Ubisoft and the dev team.

Looks like someone didn't have (or must I say... ISN'T HAVING?!) a decent childhood.
It's not the big deal, but come on, it's kinda cute.

Maybe they don't want it to happen. It's cool that parents are teaching their son to face situations, instead of just being there, conformed to everything the big men in suits say.
The post could be worse or even more fake... it could be a post about a kid who's going to die in 3 months and his last wish was to play Rayman Legends... you know, because that shit happens 9_9
Haruka wrote:Maybe if I were a kid I would cry too. Tell me how many kids are in the world that cry when they do not have their wills accomplished at the moment they want? Almost all in the world.
Sadly, men with money don't remember that.

I need to skype with you... like... now. There's the type of people who try to make changes, and there's the other type of people that always say "heh, look at those guys, they're trying to make a change... what a bunch of morons", even when the change is actually possible.

What has that even got to do with what I said? Even though you're right, I'm upset over this piece of shit parent overfuckingreacting like that. What the fuck is wrong with people like these!? Makes me want to rape puppies... more.

ROFLMAO, I was kidding Tomek, calm down, you don't have to rape all those puppies. Shall remember you the case of a girl who was going to die, then their parents communicated with someone at pixar because her last wish was to watch UP, then some people from Pixar ACTUALLY went to the hospital and showed her an exclusive version of the movie 3 months before it was released on cinemas. That kind of stuff restored my faith in humanity... kind of. I don't know, again, if the release date is over I'll stop protesting.

Of course I'm not sure - I'm not them! But is the article genuine? Did they actually express this feeling with words? Because if it's only pictures, it's up to anyone to interpret it the way they like.
All I was saying is that it's a nice and smart move on their part - supporting the fanbase but remaining loyal to the company they work for.

Tomorrow Nintendo will make a new Nintendo Direct. If things go well, maybe we'll get a release date for Wii U's strongest titles (Wonderful 101, Game & Wario and Pikmin 3). If so, most of the rage about Rayman Legends will probably be forgotten, and we'll get the rest of the games as soon as possible (hopefully). They confirmed that the Nintendo Direct will be about Wii U and 3DS, so we'll probably get a release date for Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, and who knows... maybe updates about new games.
If Rayman is mentioned on this Nintendo Direct, that would be really awkward. Then again, it's a Nintendo Direct, so that's unlikely.

Another new Nintendo Direct? SWEET! I hope to hear more about Game and Wario that is for sure, and new info on RL if they will give any out.
