I play guitar, and I record my Godin Flat Five:
(This isn't mine; I modded mine to have 28 frets, but it looks the exact same)
I use it in most of my tracks that have guitar in them, notably most of the tracks from Part 21 and the last track from Part 29 (the most recent).

I just finished the large, single texture I mentioned in the mail. The one that was going to be broken into parts. I'll create some models for it when I get home and send them to you.

Wouldn't they just be flat planes?

Ahah, nothing less!

Most of them yeah, but I'm not planning this for the waterlily flowers and some of the other things. You'll see.

There's also this huuuuge kind of waterlily with upright edges; they're supposed to be able to carry children!
They also have lots of spikes at their undersides. I think they would make for interesting obstacles. Maybe have them flip around in a current?
EDIT: Here it is! (Including child

)

Hey, now that you talk about instruments: I'm going to ask for a bass guitar for Christmas and I was wondering if there is a cheap Fender bass so I can start off with a decent bass but not spend too much money. I wanted a Mike Dirnt P Bass but it's like 250€ and my mom asked me if I'm crazy xD

Um, 250€ is pretty cheap for a bass, just letting you know. Anything cheaper isn't going to perform very well at all.

I had heard there are basses out there for around 100€. Also I had heard a good brand to get started is Ibanez. I heard it's pretty good but still cheap.

Hi I'm back

.
What I wanted to mean by "shaded off" (sometimes web translators suck...) is that they aren't really clear because they are in the background with the sunlight of the twilight behind them.
About the tents : Physics and graphics both look great. If u are doing them for a night ambush they are pretty well done. The only point I would to add is that they are not stretched (or set ?) enough for me : That doesn't look like a place of bad guys because they would look too lazy (maybe ?) if they do their bad guys' job like they set their tents in the Canyon...

Snip
I think I could make one of these. There'll be some adjustments because of the spikes. They're too long for a bumpmap to create and too many to make via polys. So I'll make less of them, and they'll be larger. At the same time they become much more cartoony (and lethal) this way. Here's a quick take on the idea.

Heheh, don't worry about polycount, as long as the platforms average to 1000 polys or less, then it's perfectly fine.
Also, I quite like that gameplay concept thar. Now I just have to figure out how to make waves. This could help a lot in the actual vertical platforming aspect. Say, can you also make some of those floating lilies, like the ones you find in the Dream Forest? Not to request too much I mean, but if you can, that would be great.

Thank Decidetto for coming up with that idea.

Have you got any picture of them? I'm not sure which you're talking of.

I can't wait for those waterlilies considering your amazing draw Spanex. Good luck for the conception.
That reminds me the flying plants in R1 you know, those which sometimes fall down where u jump on them...

Wow! To think that such a simple idea could have such good-looking (and fast!) consequences

Those spikes definitely have a Rayman touch. Especially the way they curve in different directions and are highly asymmetric. The fact that they are gigantic helps as well

I like the sketch. I would suggest to have eyes if you want to give a greater R1 feeling.
