Here's a slightly amusing article a friend just sent me that is still pretty relevant to the current topics.

I know, right? without Rayman Legends on the list, the Wii U is feeling kinda dry... considering that the other titles will probably be released on march or even later. A Nintendo Direct is what we needed... I mean, announcements, release dates, maybe new games... I hope they don't disappoint, the last 2 Nintendo Directs were awesome.

Hopefully more on the next Mario Kart. :)

Mario Kart? I'm much more sure that they are saving that for the E3.

My day would be made if a No More Heroes 3 were announced for the wii-U, agh!
I can't wait for this Nintendo Direct though, I hope we can hear more of Zelda Windwaker HD especially! :)

I agree. They're not showing Mario Kart 'till E3. They're probably just gonna reveal the release date of the current games.

I'd say that's rather hypocritical but reading this is actually pretty good:
"Nintendo has recently announced the coming release of some of their great brands on Wii U, and we believe it will boost its potential."
Let's consider that they "betrayed" Nintendo with the exclusivity of Rayman Legends, probably because the Wii U didn't sell as they expected (let's be honest, breaking the exclusivity of a game as a last minute decision is a clear sign of insecurity of the company about the Wii U... if they cared about the fanbase, they wouldn't have chosen Rayman Legends to be exclusive on the first place). If we consider this situation, maybe that means something big is coming, something so big even ubisoft recovered their hopes about the console.

Too good to be true :( ... but seeing actual footage of the game would be amazing. A 2 hour long Nintendo Direct would make me more than happy... especially if they talk about actual games and not "Nintendo's successful past"

Haha, you really gotta love Reggie, could never ask for a better president for Nintendo of America- I did get a little annoyed though when he stated about how he was being bombarded by Mother fans- other then that though, he's an awesome guy

Reggie is a cyborg, a purple pikmin, and a french fries-eating zombie. People love him because he's a package full of memes.

I remind well the E3 with the Wii Fit introduction to everybody in the conference, I laughed so much to see his face after the Wii Balance Board confirming he was obese.

What time is the Nintendo Direct? I'm really hoping for more information about Pokémon X/Y and maybe release dates for Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Magnagate And Infinite Labyrinth in Europe.

Excellent Nintendo Direct for 3DS owners, but nothing that good for Wii U owners. Some good games on the eshop and Monster Hunter 3, but that's pretty much it.

Well, we had a Wii U Direct not that long ago, so it's not that surprising.

Hm... I don't know, I'm still waiting for a release date for Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101... This month will feel empty on Wii U...

oh, well, at least we got a free demo of Monster Hunter 3!!! :mryellow:

The new Monster Hunter is looking great! I'm really considering it! And the 3ds- it is certainly headed in the right direction, I can't freaking WAIT for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, this will be a pre-order for me, no doubt! :)
If anyone else here plans on the getting the New Animal Crossing, let me know, we could do online.

Mario & Luigi Dream Team and Pokemon Y will stop me from getting Animal Crossing by that time... I'm sorry :( The lack of money burns.

But I really want it... it's like they finally decided to do something different with the series... and there's Rayman Legends too... my poor, poor wallet.

Holy fuck, that's a lot of Mario for one year. Better start saving. Extremely excited for online co-op for Luigi's Mansion!
