Re: Rayman 3
"Salle" means "room", right? It may be a dev-tool teleport function to get Rayman from one phase (room) of a level to the next.

Re: Rayman 3
I watched someone playing to Resident Evil: Code Veronica, and I noticed some similarities between Razoff and Alfred Ashford, because of the mansion, the numerous portraits, the red clothes, the sniper rifle and the madness of the Count.
Who knows? Maybe the developers used Ashford as an inspiration to create Razoff, besides Zaroff in The Most Dangerous Game.

This happens in the normal version too.Pressing enter during the flying section at the start of the game stops Murfy from moving.

Re: Rayman 3
Whoa, is that so? Not really anything major in the long term I guess, but neat. I've got to try that one out meself.
Re: Rayman 3
I hope it works in the PS2 version. Sounds worth a try.
Did anyone else notice that the new TF2 bumper car mode seems to have been almost completely inspired by the Crazy Shoe part of Rayman 3?

It's not a novelty, at least for me. I think only happens in the PC version but I already knew this.bunnieblaster wrote:This happens in the normal version too.Pressing enter during the flying section at the start of the game stops Murfy from moving.

Re: Rayman 3
Well, what would be the equivalent of "enter" on PS2, if any?
Re: Rayman 3
There isn't, but it's kinda weird, since the game is based on PS2 version. (They developped it on PS2 then ported it)PluMGMK wrote:Well, what would be the equivalent of "enter" on PS2, if any?
Re: Rayman 3
I think it would be SELECT. Or any of the buttons.

That's actually the first thing I thought of when I first played it! It definitely controls very similarly, as in I slide around a lot and can't quite control where I'm going.iHeckler9 wrote:Did anyone else notice that the new TF2 bumper car mode seems to have been almost completely inspired by the Crazy Shoe part of Rayman 3?

Is it bothering anyone else that this thread seems to have been stuck on 299 pages for a long while?

Re: Rayman 3
Hey, I have a question.
There are 2 box covers for Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc:
This seemingly rushed cartoony one:
http://pics.mobygames.com/images/covers ... 682-00.jpg
And this wonderful realistic one:
http://pics.mobygames.com/images/covers ... 399-00.jpg
What's the difference? Where they released in different countries? Different times? I couldn't find anything about it on RayWiki or Wikipedia... I had never seen the former image before today, but it seems there are many images on Google Images...
Edit: Just so you know, they aren't different because of the console, because (as you must know) the latter image also appears on many (and my) copy of Rayman 3 for PS2. They also both seem to be released in PAL format, so I don't think it's that...

Re: Rayman 3
Not sure on the difference, but the 2nd realistic one is the one I've got.
and it's by far the best cover
I've also got the hologram thing of the cover, as well...
does anyone else have that?

First one is the North American cover, the other is the European one...

You sure about the PAL thing? AFAIK, the first is American, and the second, European.

Re: Rayman 3
Oh, I didn't realise, I could have sworn I saw a PAL one...
Nah I just looked, I must have been seeing things.
I also had the holographic one, that was awesome.
Also the European one is so much cooler than the American one, it's a shame you didn't get it. I wonder why it was different?
I guess Europe finally got the long (or right, I can't remember how the phrase goes) end of the stick in this matter.
Damn that hologram box art was awesome though.. Did the American one come holographic? (I'm guessing not)
Edit:
Also does ANYONE know why the awesome Begoniax PS2 theme (probably my favourite track in any Rayman game other than Rayman's theme on Rayman M (arena)) was only on the PS2 release, and not in the OST?

Anyone know about the Begoniax theme? It's really weird, it's better than the OST one...
