The biggest difference is the present. =P
Maybe it is a hidden feature nobody knows about? XD

Very interesting. From what I heard, the real reason why the GBA version's colours aren't so good was because they had to repaint everything or something because the animations came up too dark...that's what I read in a magazine anyways. o.0

I can't see Drol's because of blocks.
Hunch's must be PC hosted.

I think Drol's has a better range of colors, but either one needs to be on the wiki.

Well, drol's one is definitely better quality...and it's still incomplete!
It's gonna rock...

It's only low-res now...but when he is able to properly rip it, in all its detailed hi-res glory...*quivers with excitement*

I really like the present. I wonder what droolie needs to extract the map and backgrounds in their in-game resolution? Right now, he can only extract them in...
decreased resolution! ...which is not good enough.

Uh, spiraldoor, sorry to disappoint you, but I *think* it IS in-game resolution. I think it's just stretched and blurred a little in the game.

No, I was playing R1 PS1 just a couple of hours ago, and I saved your R1 PS1 map to my media centre and looked at it full-screen. It is DEFINITELY lower resolution than it is in-game, I'm 100% sure.

Just resize it at 200% with the nearest neighbour algorithm and you'll get the game-resolution with no quality loss. Thus, Droolie's right.

But I don't know what an algorithm is...
eh, nevermind. I'll figure it out. Someday.

Turn off OBJ layer (Options>Video>Layers).

You can also use the map viewer feature, which is more powerful.
