Yup, the person behind a channel I follow, Somecallmejohnny, also is a pretty decent fellow, and a big Sonic fan.

Of course there are great Sonic fans but sadly most of them I saw were really rude and forcing their opinions as a facts.

Sonic fans are some of the most awful people. JUST LOOK!

It's a shame.

And to think... I actually knew some people who *liked* Sonic 06, you heard me right. I don't think admitting you like Sonic is something to be ashamed of, but Sonic 06, even if you're a fan of the series, you gotta know when the developers truly fuck up, Sonic 06 was just... awful. The sonic fanbase on deviantart is just WORSE though, now that I bring that up deviantart fanbases as a whole are pretty bad, this is why I don't like Deviantart, a lot of the talented artists are overshadowed by these awful fanbases filled with recolors, fanfictions, etc.

Deviantart I do like, but my god it's quite possibly one of the most cringe-worthy sites I've ever visited.

Only fanbase. I really like most of the games. Both Classic and Modern Sonic. I only dislike Sonic And The Secret Rings (broken controls), Sonic and The Black Knight (broken controls) - if these games supported GameCube controller or Classic Controller maybe I would not dislike them, Sonic 06 (broken game), Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic Labyrinth. Sonic Unleashed I only kinda dislike Wii Version (with GameCube controller it is better)but still I prefer Unleasehd on 360 and PS3 due to better level design and Hub World. All others I really like

Sonic clearly isn't a bad game series, but man it's had some dark horrible moments, Sonic 06 for example. Sonic Unleashed for me was pretty bad as well.

It seems Sonic Generations showed that Sega truly has potential, the game ended up being one of my favorite Sonic games, and Lost Worlds is looking great as well, can't wait for it.

Lost World looks amazing and only thing I dislike is how main villains look. Looks too much like Skylanders-wannabe.
It is a shame that I will be playing only Handheld version.

I think even though the Sonic fanbase does have some bad characters, I think, much like any other fanbase, it has its fair share of rational and decent fellows, the problem being that Sonic is one of the more bigger fanbases and also one that has been host to many changes, consequently, given the effect of change to a franchise, it is to be expected that there is fragmentation in their base.
I think all fanbases have bad apples, some moreso than others, heck, I guarantee there are Rayman "fans" out there whose behaviour perfectly mimics those bad apples of the Sonic fanbase.

Any deviantart users here remember Sexysonadow on Deviantart? Her huge obsession with Rayman and wanting to do terrible things to him...

Why does mariotehplumber's younger brother have more subscribers then Master, Rayfist, Me, Haruka, COOLPRO195, emshomar, kevinrayman and other way better YouTube users?

Possibly because I haven't been shovelling out content as of late, good reminder OCG, I need to come up with something for my channel, I don't want it to go to waste.

Still, Others I mentioned always upload new content yet this kid who rages in camera cursing has more subscribers.

Do you come up to a suicidal person and say "wow you're so emo, you should be AWESOME" no FUCK you.

I also have to find something to put on my channel and tidy it up. B&R's over and Adsoul will get its own channel. And I have nothing much to offer other than that.

I have not offered anything new on my channel in a while either, maybe I should start doing reviews? Or maybe commentaries, tough decision.

Idiocy has its own crowd. The reason Chris Chan has so may views is because people enjoy watching how pathetic he is, not because they're genuinely interested in what he has to offer us.
