All,except Red Globox and Raybox.

My headcanon is that Glutes wear invisible clothes, but [Poglox has nothing on him.]

Apparently Glombrox is also globox possessed by Darktoons.
I still wonder if Raymesis and Dark Rayman (the one who chases you) are meant to be seperate characters or not.

Where is Glombrox mentioned as Globox?Glombrox' description says he was originally good, but he turned bad, after he was possesed by Darktoons, but he is nowhere referred as Globox.

Unrelated to the current discussion, but I've got some headcannons i've wanted to share for ages.
A lot of my theories relate to the glade itself, and the very nature of the dream

1) In R2 the main idea that you discover through collecting yellow lums is that Rayman was not created by Polokus, which is an interesting idea because it really sets him apart from the rest of the dream-critters. My idea was that Rayman is the inevitable response to the crisis within the dream (the nightmares that threaten to tear apart the nature of the dream). Much like the human body's immune response to bacteria, Rayman was created by the dream (in RO, the nymphs) to restore the integrity and balance of the dream.

2) Polokus' absence in R1 could be due to the fact that he had not yet become lucid within his dream. He was not aware that he was dreaming, simply watching the events unfold like most of us do when we dream. Eventually he did reealise, which is when the dream became aware of his existence and he drew his power from this fact.

On an unrelated note, I always imagined a cool idea for a future rayman game plot would be that for unknown reasons, the dream begins to collapse and polokus becomes more and more withdrawn over time (waking up). Rayman and many of the nightmares set aside their previous quarrels in order to band together and gather enough energy to prevent the cataclysm. Ultimately they realise their efforts have been futile and polokus departs the dream forever, leaving the gamer to believe the glade has been destroyed. At the end of the credits it is revealed that the dream is capable of existence without it's creator, depicting rayman and co rebuilding their destroyed world by hand.

Of course I know that themes like these will never make it into future rayman games, which is a shame because there is so much potential for great story telling in the setting they have created but I feel as though it has been squandered in the last 2 games.

Ugh, rant over.

I think Polokus' absence in R1 is explained in R2. Rayman hadn't find the four masks yet to wake him up.

Maybe he was there but we just didn't see him.

Also, I have a headcanon that Rayman can play the piano. Yep.

He can indeed, but he only plays well when he chooses to - otherwise, enjoy a massive racket :mryellow:.

I have a headcanon that explains why:
-Everybody is so crazy in Rayman Origins
-DarkRay appears in Rayman Origins
-Plums aren't present in RO.

My headcanon is:Rayman and the others can only see DarkRay,if they drink plum juice.
It started when I played Rayman 3 and I heard Globox saying "Rayman,I didn't know you have a twin brother" or something like that when he was drunk.I immediately thought about DarkRay.So maybe he appeared in R3,but nobody could see him except Globox.
Anyway, after the R3 events,Rayman took all the plums from the Glade and made a lot of plum juice. Before Origins, everybody drank it and this is why they are so crazy and can see Raymesis (yes,DarkRay).

I'm not sure if you're joking, but severe drunkenness can cause double vision.

my head cannon states that the leptys and knaraan are from one of the islands seprate from the flade of dreams, as are the snowy mauntains, hoodlum headquarters, and tower of leptys from R3, might show a geographical cannonology of raymans world l8r, if people want me to.

They aren't the same characters, Raymesis is just smashing things around to make Rayman seem bad and need anger management, while Dark Rayman only chases you around copying your moves.

I don't have any headcanons though.

so then could dark rayman be ales's version of dark rayman?

I see Raymesis as a reformed original Bad/Dark Rayman, who still holds some rivalry with the original, but has lost some of his evil compulsions. The Dark Rayman in the invaded levels is a new one based on how Raymesis came to be, as the fanboy Ales decided to study some of the magics Mr. Dark used.

Can anybody tell me why you guys think Raymesis is not DarkRay from RO and R1?Just because of the name change?

Because they changed Darkray to this very dark rayman so the one from RO is no longer Darkray. Also, he got a different text explaining who he is in Legends.

Put it mildly, the whole thing is a mess. What's written there is how we've interpreted it, seeing as Dark Rayman behaves exactly as he did before, and Raymesis has a different description. DarkRay from RO is stated to be the original, hence what's written on the Wiki.
