Really good model geometrie, ...

I also did a few rippings last night, with the snowboard race of rayman and globox
It seems that its one of the few world with right camera geometrie,...cause in all others, like the ship, the tower of leptis
And some,...is the dimension not right (like Adsultion said with messed up modells)

I also tested it in Rayman 2 (Demo) and original:
The problem here is really tricky performance spare by ubi,... the said backface invisible and the ripper can't see the other side
Of the model, but I got the other characters like murfy and pirates perfectly,...I also tried it with RRR, but it don't let's me play the game cause of the ripper software

, (i wanted to see with the wireframe mod if there are unseen secrets

I also tried it with the activity center of Rayman RR (but no succes, it seems also that the mesh in that wierd mini game collection is soo unseen by the developers, they messed up the ring (circle) on raymans body, to two c's left and right

Unwrap fail i would say) I have lost the R M disk, since a long time I was younger, so i only have it on ps2 and I didnt ripped models from there,...

Oh i went a little to deep I guess, yeah send me, I really like how everbody is helping!

IMPORTANT!

HOW CAN I RIP MODELS/OBJECTS, TEXTURES FROM RRR PC?
(3d ripper dx can't start the game cause a security warning,... the ripper,...)
Is there a way how i can set the game on ignore setup or something?

I only wanted to see with wireframe mode and solide mode, if there is something unseen,...
I also wanted to rip out the brutus rabidd and the robots, to re-rig them, and let them inside the rabiddlab in the game
I only had the idea of replacing the old videos, inside the reading system of rrr, i mean, i would try to replace the intro
(Rayman globox babys rabidds from holes, black screen, ....with the arena_cine, or the morte_ray_cine)-don't know if it's possible,...I think sadly not, but why not try

I don't know if he, or cheatcat has tried it, cause the theme inside the topic changed with other things, that don't say anything about rayman 4 real details

And,...if someone is interessted,... I have read that many users have problems by importing 3dripperdx objs, with automaticly right texture
1. Go to the saved obj's (frames)[copy them]
2. Make a new file [paste them here!]
3. Go to the saved textures (textures)[copy them]
4. Make a new file in the new file named "textu"(name is not important) [paste them here]
5. Open the obj with Blender (by importing obj-> 1 obj selected)
6. Nearly finished,...just go to material-> shading (one under 1st slide bar, and set it to 0! The second! Only the second
Finished, now you have all objs with the right textures from the game

Problems i have fixxed so

-Don't rip to many things (objs), only 3-4 because after a few more the engine won't be able to find the right texture for some reason
-Do it in this Order! Otherwise it won't work, what I have seen,...
-:little problem,...you have to to this material thing on each else obj, that isn't the same texture type, but this is done fast!

Only to help some of you, I wanted to share this tipps with you cause at the beginning I lost sooo much time setting the right texture to each obj,...

#The level designer I told you on the 1st page will be uploaded if
all bugs are fixxed and it is easier
it will be like gamemaker,...for nonprogrammers!

and free of course (ps. programmers can also use it! everything is just already done

(like filters, game logic, ai, efecs etc.))

EDIT: OMG I hate the f***ing rabidds,...I mean the minigames make no sense, if there would be a Story, ok but that,...
Rayman eats with globox babys-> where the heck is globox?(Iam not a hater, but come on, the game is no real rayman game isn't it? If you know what I mean, by the magic is lost, the R2 and 3 magical atmosphere)

But, 1 I have to say, ... have you ever looked at the animations of raymans idle, or running cicle?! In some way it really smoothes the moves out by rotating or changing the way, by animation blend ins,... this and if you have the pink hair on rayman you can clearly see, that thats not a simple animation it's more a ridged bod joint (for the game knowers here

)
What means that they are based on physics, with a clear animation but not always the same
EDIT: yes now I know,... I always wondered, why raymans hair in this part where an own model,...you can see the joining line a little,...it is an own object, a softbody,...pysically controlled,...see it if you run and pause, the game, the hair will "wiggle".
Man with the technology they were able to give the game it makes me even more sad about it...
Only to find some "good things" for the game,..

Someone noticed how many rayman fangames are planed, I mean
R_ROTD, R_Chronicles, Razorbeards vegeance, R_Chaos, R_Dark Ma., and many more I couldn't find at the moment!

If they all will be published it will be,...legen,..............wait, a minute cause this is so cool and incredibly awsome ......dary!

*Not finished, the demo, but anyone an Idea, of where to uploade such big data? (Not sure now, we have to recalculate everything and to change a few settings to bring best performance, with no cpu / fps problems)

I actually did pin point the number of frames in Rayman's run cycle. Its 9 frames. I was going to pin point the others but got tied up with personal issues again.

I can't follow you right I think,

My rayman game is in 3d, ...1st post, infos

My rayman animation with his runcycle is about 20 frames long, but there are different animations, that blend in,...
And the idle is about 40 -60 repeating frames long, but thats only the base, the special idles, are 25 frames each i think,

I guess you ment some other thing

I think there's a miscommunication. Im fully aware your game is in 3D, I was making a 3D fan game too at on point. I was just talking about that in Rayman 3 His run cycle (Just the run cycle nothing else) is 9 key frames that is about 20 fps (Frames per second.) However I haven't found any rule of thumb yet. Update....
I know a long time has past since the last post here,...and iam really stressed,...
I dont know if there is even anyone,...who is still reading this,...but I want to let you know,...

Because of the othe offical team members kinda left or didnt wanted to work in there freetime on a free game (what is sad,...) but I understand that,...so i worked a time alone on it,...but its soo freaking hard to make and design and plan and program and do that and this,...you know I have to work on other things too,...this is not ment bad,...I am not saying the project died,...no not in that way,...but its some kind of frozen,...a frozen ice cube that stands there and yeah,...soo sad BUT NOW ITS NOT OVER
If there is someone who also wants to bring back the magic the feelings we felt when we first played rayman 2 or 3 but,...yeah this magical world we didnt know that geometrical and technical side,.....it wasnt importend,.....what was important, was the characters the endless word,...the bad things we had to defeat our skills powers,...the silver lums

,...where is the magic we didnt expect,...the everything,...lookat the cover of rayman 3,....only 5 secons and delet the voice in your head that says uhh ubisoft is too lazy to do that,...they couldnt do that,...noway this would be possible,....I is,...why not its our world,....what is not possible with a running rocket, a blue taled fairy named ly a strange blue frog,...or whatever his species ,...a glute or special thing that was red,...told origings,...but yeah we dont know,...and you know its not importand cause,..the story isnt written to its end,.....there is some blank space we can write on WE CAN DISCOVER why ly used raymans full power why she gets it all,....why is murphy like he is,....who is the real king,....and no f*** rabbids,... no they are no,...just,....ok i went off track but you know what I mean,...now we are emotionless if there is a game maybe maybe not,...is r4 ever released someday,...from another studio we dont know,...not importend we have gta 5 right
