ok so should i keep working on it and if i should then what would your suggestions be?

anyways update;

I really like it! But the pirate logo doesn't have got a "nose"

yeah well i vectored it off some image and it didnt have one but anyways

retouched the ship a bit and added a few effects... ship works better i think. a lot better

yet to find a good font though

Only problem is that BLIND people may not notice the difference between the 'no new posts in forum' and 'new posts in forum' images...
And what do you mean by the original font? You mean the Rayman font? That's called Rayman, but you'd have to download it first XD
And if you mean the original PC font, that was Verdana, I think.

forum markers can be changed easily anyway, should i make them different colours instead?

anyways photoshop seems screwed cos it doesnt find any of the new fonts i try to install; so i guess i'll have to use a default one or send the .psd file to one of You guys..

Better but still too common... By the way, I think I used the Balloons font for the former PC logo, but I made it four years ago, so I don't really remember...

Hey Hunch, you could find out and see if Phoenixan can help you with making the style Matyuv is designing by code... he knows CSS and xHTML too... just a thought, incase if you didn't have enough time or needed another person helping.
