i got into the fandom only a year ago, way after the series split, so i never really minded rabbids i just thought they were ok. then i finally got around to buying mario + rabbids this june and now i really like rabbids and! i keep feeling bad for it! i know theres nothing wrong with it And Yet...

There's nothing wrong with liking the Rabbids. I know for a fact that there are Rabbids fans out there. Heck, even Tily has at least one fan!

There are rumours that the RKB team are creating a sequel, that features Rayman. But those are just 4Chan leaks.

Rayman twitter keeps saying stuff like "Ubisoft has forgotten about Rayman!/Ubisoft doesn't care about Rayman!" They keep acting like Rayman is Ubisoft's only game.
But anyway isn't Ancel working on Beyond Good and Evil 2? I'm pretty sure it's going to be awhile until we get a new rayman if he's busy with that. But "new rayman" could mean another Ubiart game. Im pretty sure everyone just wants Rayman 4, which brings me to my next question. Was that raving rabbids prototype supposed to be rayman 4 or a spinoff? If it was supposed to be rayman 4 are we going to get what the prototype was going to be or are they just going to start fresh? If that prototype wasn't than i answered my own question.
Another question is, is rayman 4 long gone and we should just let go of it or have hope?
But I doubt that Rayman is over as much as the fans proclaim. The rabbids didn't kill him off (if that were the case origins and legends wouldn't exist, i would even say the rabbids made him more popular). And it's not like him being added to smash will get him a new game or "save him". I get people are impatient and want to get another game but like i said Rayman isn't Ubisoft's only game.

It's been fifteen years since the Rayman 4 prototype was canceled so they better start fresh if they decide to bring Rayman back. Not that I would mind them drawing a few ideas from it, though.

I would be happy with the release of any new Rayman game, it doesn't have to be the Rayman 4 prototype or be based on it, however it's true that I would love to play another Rayman 3D platformer. Also, I doubt that people think that Rayman being included in Smash would revitalize or "save" the franchise, but it is something that would definitely be appreciated and could be considered a victory for the fanbase since Rayman has been requested to be in that game for several years.

they could make something without ancel like a more minor spinoff.. but yea im sure something is coming Someday im just utterly tired of hoping for it right now with how the latest forward had absolutely Nothing. i understand why everyone else is miserable
also having to constantly hear about how terrible rabbids are or whatever really is kinda tiring i agree. this fandom really aint helping me feel any less cringe over the fact that i got super attached to a rabbid in that one mario game! and i noticed that taking a break from a rayman discord really just immediately made me feel better about it. huh.

I don't understand why anyone would still be complaining about Rabbids since the release of Origins and Legends tbh.

I think people just don't want to come to terms with the fact that the rabbids outshined rayman.

It's obviously a shame what happened to the cancelled Rayman 4 project but now the series are separate there's no reason to blame the Rabbids anymore.

tbh? id rather you really dont cause it genuinely devalues a serious thing that people do have. i dont vibe with it

Anyway... Am I the only one who feels we're better off hearing nothing at events like the Forward, than getting more Rayman Mini-type things?
