Not that closed. AFAIK the browser I have (qutebrowser) has a Windows version.

I'll have to check it out sometime then. Chrome is nice and well featured, but if this lag is as hard as it is, I might have to go lightweight.

It's based on QtWebKit though, so it might be heavier than it looks.
