Ehm, are we going to eventually change "Twitter" for "X" in all the references used in the wiki?

I refuse to the Twitter "X", but it would make sense to change it for the wiki. Also it is possible for anyone to edit a page? I would do it if I could.

Is there a point? I thought all Twitter links will keep on working.

Are you not able to edit wiki pages? If that's the case, maybe you need to contact an admin.

The links should be fine, but the beginning of the references still includes the name "Twitter", example:
Which in the future could be changed to:
I'm not advocating to do any changes now, however as Twitter continues to transition to X and other sites stop using the old name, I wonder if at some point it would make sense to change the name in the wiki.

I can, I just wanted to know if anyone else was doing it. :D

HELLO MY PEOPLE 8)

I was just curious if I could have a little help setting up a page for myself. I have no clue how you make a description box for yourself :P

I suggest you simply copy the source of somebody else's page that you like and use to the preview button to modify it until you're happy with it and ready to submit. ;)

It's a minor thing, but I made a mistake when naming images for Captain Laserhawk, they're supposed to start with "CL" instead of "CP", I can't believe I didn't notice until now :grrr:. I wish there was an easy way to rename files in the wiki.

Looks like I can move it (More --> Move), but I cannot suppress the creation of a redirect, nor delete that redirect.
For example: https://raymanpc.com/wiki/script-en/ind ... edirect=no
We should probably wait for a wiki admin's assistance with that. :)

Thanks for the help! It seems that Plum took care of the rest (even thought I'm not completely sure of how this works).

There are other two images that have "CP" instead of "CL" in the name:
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/File:CP-EP ... s_past.jpg
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/File:CP-EP4-Rayman_pin.jpg

Sorry for all the hassle.

All done :) Not sure when exactly I gained the ability to do that but it's coming in handy! :oops2:

I think it depends on how your privileges are configured for the wiki. Also, Raywiki and Rayfanpedia have different per-user permissions, as I learn from my ability to delete or move files without a redirect on the fan wiki, but not on the main one. :)

Thanks for the help guys! I'll try to triple check the names before uploading more screenshots.

I have recently uploaded 2 artworks for Rayman Origins in the wiki, how could I insert them in their respective category?

I've already added them to the "Photographs" category, code:

Code: Select all

[[Category:Photographs]]
However, I guess they could also be under the "Artworks from Rayman Origins" category.

Thank you!
I was thinking of adding them to that artwork category, I didn't know about the Photograph one :D

I don't mean to boost a no-longer active post, but are minor edits okay for the wiki? I was looking through some character's wiki pages and I found that Romeo's page says that he wears an orange beanie instead of a bandana (or a headband)

Is this edit too insignificant to make? It doesn't bother me that the wiki page says he has a beanie, but I just wanted to help a little bit :oops2:

The Wiki has a checkbox for minor edits in the edit summary section in the editor, so by all means, go for it.
