Who's your favorite boss from Rayman 3?

Personally, I would have been ok with only the first two phases (the third is meh) and doing away with the vehicle entirely, that was bogus. And with the reduced life and somewhat questionable accuracy? Uhhh. I never found this hard don’t get me wrong but it’s just annoying and tense.

I think it would have been too easy if they just had 2 phases instead of 5. Although dying in phase 3 because your finger slipped and you accidentally fell into the abyss is annoying. But it's not like it really happens a lot.

In this day and age, I still maintain that I love Reflux's mid game fight, though I will admit it's long. But at least it's not as bad as the endgame fight. Now THAT is an absolutely hot mess. The most disappointing final boss fight I've done. Even the boss before it, the Horrible Machine, was better.

Yeah I agree, that boss fight is so much fun! I love the music and the overall atmosphere of it. The Céloche fight is also pretty nice

Rayman 3 is really a kick-ass game when you think about it. Most bosses were challenging but doable, and the difficulty curve was reasonable.
Unlike Rayman 2 where everything is easy and then you get to the Grogloth fight and might as well stick your head in a lanwnmower.

Yeah true. Dying in phase 4 is much more common. I dunno I feel like they could have done better with this final boss fight. Especially with the last phase with the vehicle. But now that that I think about it, Rayman 2 also pulled this stunt.

I remember that back in the day, I had a hard time figuring out what to do in the second phase (I didn't know you could climb Reflux's arm) and in the last phase it was difficult for me to aim at him, when he was about to do that rush attack (don't know how to describe it).

Yes, you are right. The terrible accuracy of the cannon is annoying. But once you get just good enough it is mostly OK.
And at least if you die in Phase 4, you just restart Phase 4. At least they split the battle reasonably.

The mid game one is pretty good. The last one is kind of crappy in comparison.

Yeah true. As for Rayman 2, it's especially the PS1 version that's challenging, not the PC version where all you have to do is fly around in circles waiting to shoot the Grolgoth lol.

Yes, you are right about the PSX version being more challenging. But, unless you are aware of the easter egg, even the PC version can get annoying, navigating through rising lava in those tight tunnels.
