You know I can easily fix that problem so he would never be able to deny it.

Three years later, I still have no idea what this topic was supposed to be all about

I wasn't even aware one could have a personal happy place on this forum

I was a Global Moderator at the time, so I suppose that gave me some privilege, but I was as surprised as anyone to see this pop up!

Neither do I, but man, doesn't it sound cool.

iirc I joined the forum in 2018 and at that time Plum was at my rank.

It does, but then you see things like "world domination" there

It's not as resilient as the LEACING THIS PALCE one!

I mean, every year we dig up poor Rf2000's indignity – tragic, really

I don't know why I keep talking about smells lately.

Malfunctioning plumbing in your house or general area perhaps?

Somehow, world domination could be my happy place.

I remember a crisis we had at work in February 2020 (the end of the old days

) and my boss was WhatsApping me all weekend. (It culminated in my sending stuff to a supplier from my bed on a Sunday afternoon

) At one point, the messages had me so worried about our course of action that I was like "What are we trying to do here??" and his response was "Trying to take over the world."

Something random about things just being smelly for no reason has been a thing lately when we thought something was bad. It started when I was playing The Godfather on Xbox 360 and said "I'm stuck with a smelly pistol".

How has that worked out for him, though?

My boss from the story above? Well, he left the company this July!

Does it mean you're now in charge of world dominion?

I'm not in charge of anything, thankfully, but in general we're trying to slow down and do things in a more measured way. As you guessed, the type of decision-making I mentioned earlier didn't get us anywhere good!

Good me for me, then. I'm still looking for my own happy place, after all.
