The only time i found the teensies likable was in origins because they didn't have any dialogue.

This one might not be so unpopular.
Perhaps it isn't unpopular, but then it means the series had already been dead (with almost 9 years between Rayman 3 and Origins).

I didn't care for rayman 1,2, and 3.

Frasier Crane saying "Get out", in case it disappears.

Just messing, please don't leave the forum. :P

Human characters from Legends/Aventures don't fit in Glade of the Dreams in my opinion, mostly because we're used to see humanoid and magical creatures living there in the game series, even though nymphs are closest to resemble humans. Possibly the reboot matter excuses their existence, therefore Origins/Legends ain't (directly) connected with the previous Rayman games (more like Legend of Spyro with Classic Spyro games just to give you an idea).

I personally don't mind humans being in Rayman's world, while they may seem out of place, their cartoony proportions along with wacky personalities fit the setting IMO.

As for my unpopular opinion about Rayman, I found the final battle from Rayman 2 to be pretty underwhelming, it was short and the Captain's description of Grolgoth didn't really live up to expectations.

Can agree on this.

Yeah, this might not be so unpopular an opinion. I think I preferred the battle in the PlayStation version.

That's why I hope that Rayman 2 remake made by Rycer would upgrade the final fight, would be cool if it was a mix of battle segments from PS1 and other platforms.

Doesn't he plan on just remaking the original version, though? Anyway, now you mention it, there's so much potential for a Rayman 2 remake that would take the best elements from each version and mix them into a, well, 'definitive' one.

Yeah, it's confirmed that the remake will also include elements that are exclusive to some versions of the game.

From what I remember, he'll be basing his project mostly on Revolution (given that it's said to be the definitive version of Ray 2) while taking some elements from other versions as well. The voices and the story will remain the same, though if I were him, I'd consider rerecording the English voices, most of them were just bad (no offence to the voice actors, I'm just sure that they could have done better, Rayman 3 proves that) some new dialogue and such could be pleasubIe as well, though I can understand his decision to not to interfere with original script that much, it's better to stay faithful to source material though I think that Michel Ancel himself would have made it differently today.

Well I hope they stick to the idea of basing it on the Dreamcast version, all while importing only the good stuff from Revolution and the PlayStation version.

Yeah, some things like the whole long ass, repetetive pirate fight from Revolution has to be either removed or simply changed, given how he plans to upgrade the combat system, there's a chance that it might (if it stays) become pretty fun.

A controversial one: Rayman 2 and 3 are my least favourite games of the series
