It does make sense, but then there's another Slapdash in the next segment. There's another Hoodblaster too though, that isn't accounted for in any version…

Maybe they felt the first Slapdash was out of place since it appears before you get a chance to use your fist on the elevating platform? There's a a ninja crab at the end of the previous phase though, so it doesn't make much sense after all.
