technically, yes, but I won't get my certified license until I'm 16, so it works both ways.

I will get my provisional licence when I am 17

So you have one year of learning, then you have a provisional period when you can drive on your own, right?

Ok, that's how it works here as well. It's two years of learning, though, not just one.

We only learn for a few weeks, and then we have to do the dreaded theory test.

theory test? what's so bad about that?

If you fail that, then you fail everything about driving. And you have to do everything again.

Oh, ok. I'm not too worried. I'm all studied.
