Have you made any more drawings recently, Stacey? I'd love to see more.

Not many Rayman related ones as of late. I started noticing some problems with my scanner which I think is on the verge of crapping out after the 6 years I had it. This will probably be one of the last hand drawn things I've drawn for a while.

I still have my tablet though. :D

It needs colour, but it's very very good. The expressions you manage give on the characters' faces are exceptional. ;D

EEE!

*bringing everything here*
Bumping is basically posting in a topic that has been left alone for a really long time. Most forums don't like it.

Aaanyway. Well, I've been drawing for a really long time, perhaps my oldest ones were done when I was like, 13. Here's some advice I can give you:

* It's OK to look at a picture and try to copy it to practice, but avoid tracing it- you know, putting a piece of paper over it and drawing line to line - unless it's your own drawing.
* If you start posting your drawings on the internet, try to be as original as you can - by that, I mean try drawing Rayman etc in a way you imagine it, rather than just something out of an official picture.
* try not to draw on lined or squared paper. The lines aren't easy to get rid of.
* don't hold your pencil too tight. x:

And finally, what gets you better is to keep a keen interest in drawing for years to come.

Good job I still have my camera. Because I'll probably have to post hand-painted pics like this for the time being

Does Baby Rayman have arms, or is it just his clothes?

Rayman have arms as baby, but he lost them by an... accident! :fou:

Nice work anyway, StaceyW, I like your drawings! :D

Pretty good work again Stacey, although I'll have to admit Rayman does look a little... peculiar.

About the "arms", well I thought it looked better for the baby gro to have sleeves yet still have floaty feet. I've had trouble drawing floaty hands cuddling a teddy though, in fact I've always had trouble drawing folded arms in general.

I also have a little theory that Rayman probably always liked having his hair up even as a 6 month old.

Thank you all the same ;)

They are all very cute! Great job.

I have to say the last two are my favorite out of the four.

Well done Stacey, another great piece of artwork. I could never master water, or running water at all (for the teardrop).
And I never noticed the artwork in the above quote - it's fantastic too.

Should do, LJ's gallery has been awfully glitchy as of late, so try it again.

Years ago I used to right fanfiction that was just awful and made Twilight look like The Shining; and this pic is reminiscent to that.
