My least favorite level in Rayman 2 as a kid was the prison ship, the final part where your on the flying missile.
And on Rayman 3, I never had much trouble with it as a kid, but I remember when I first played I died on the first level with the knaarens because they use to freak me out.

Favourite Level?

This can be from any Rayman game.
Mine is The Desert of the Knaaren from R3, it has the best boss, the best music and it did something I thought Rayman would never do... scare me. It's a pretty long level and it was highly unexpected. I remember sitting in a dark room (aged 5) and the Teensie told me to "never let the Knaaren get near me" and I wondered, What the hell is a Knaaren? I soon found out, turned the game off and ran downstairs crying.

The Desert of the Knaaren didn't scare me as much as The Cave of Bad Dreams did. Oh goodness. I freaked out during the chase.. but that's why it's my favorite Rayman level. You explore the place where all of Polokus' nightmares live, it has a unique boss battle and I enjoyed searching for it when I was in the Marches of Awaking. The most fun part of it is when you have to decide whether you'll take the treasure or not.

He wasn't offending you in any possible way. He was comparing the Desert of the Knaaren with the Cave of Bad Dreams and stated his own opinion.

This.
The Cave of Bad Dreams scared me too, though I was eight by the time Rayman 3 came out so the Desert of Knaaren didn't scare me as much.
My favourite level of all time would be Bongo Hills (not the PSX version), because it creates a beautiful transition from the Dream Forest to Band Land, with the rolling hills at the beginning. It just gave me an immense sense of adventure.
From Rayman 2 I loved The Precipice. Every single part of the level was amazing in my opinion.
From Rayman 3, either the Fairy Council or Land of the Livid Dead. The atmosphere was so well executed on both of those levels, along with the music and gameplay.

The Precipice is great but my favourite from R2 was the Canopy.
Globox was so cool to venture about with.
Too bad he's not there when you replay it

Hm.
I didn't play Rayman 1 much yet, but I do think that Bongo Hills will win. I failed horribly on that level but it will be now fierced in my memory as the most difficult and awesome level I played!
Precipice is best, just like CDDZeo (the Let's Player) says. So much action etc.
Rayman 3... well, starting off with the truth - I don't like R3 as much as the rest, but it's still OK. Though the best level for me is either the Bog of Murk or the Longest Shortcut.

I haven't played the 1st rayman in a long time, so it's hard to say, but I remember picture city had cool maps. I think it was also my most used theme in rayman designer, as I could shape the erasers in any way I wanted
I'm now replaying rayman 2, so i guess I'll quickly know better. some levels which stick in my mind are the sanctuary of earth and lava, because it looks cool with those lava walls, and probably also because it was so hard, the tomb of the ancients for the atmosphere, and that level in a precipice where a ship chases you and throw bombs at you.
in rayman 3, the tower of the leptys. fun level, especially when you get loads of enemies to fight. oh and that tower in land of the livid dead looks so cool (despite there is no lift)

(Close if this already exsists, please.)
What's your favourite level or world in any of the Rayman games?
For example, I really enjoy the underwater levels in Sea of Serendipity. Just taking it nice and slow. I also like playing The Precipice from Rayman 2.
