Watched some footage of the game at gamespot. Really impressed with the graphics in the space minigame (the artstyle really has the charm of the first game that the second one completely forgot), and how they have sabotage elements for those who aren't using the balance board (I was expecting something like this so the other players wont get bored, so Ubisoft isn't completely stupid). Also, the shooting minigames are coming back with up to 4 people being able to play them simultaneously (as opposed to the original 2 players in the previous games) . So while its not a Rayman platformer, at least this game will hopefully be the best Rabbids (and by extension Wii) game for parties with its up to 8 player multiplayer and has a better single player mode than RRR2.
The space surfing plays like a more indepth version of Bunnies only Fly Downward from RRR1. You have to surf into the the rings to get points while avoiding space debris. Its broken up into small sections with a choice to go to a harder or easier section at the end of each via wormhole (kind of like Mario Galaxy meets Tonic Trouble). Much more fun looking, and a bit more complex than the games they used to debut RRR2, which hopefully reflects on the minigames in this outing as a whole meaning this will be more like the original RRR.
EDIT- The footage on IGN shows off the harder path, which gets faster as you go on. Also included in the IGN footage: More of Ubisoft reps trying to oversell the "GAME WITH YOUR BUTT!" deal. Christ, we get it. You don't need to keep telling us like its some freaking revolution in gaming. I also concede to whoever said the 2d segments were copying Warioware- you were right. In between minigames there will be 2d animated "ads" that are basically microgames like in WarioWare.

I have an idea: we create a computer virus which only affects Rabbids games, then send it to every computer and online games console in the world, eradicating the Rabbids forever. Then we kidnap Ubi's families and hold them hostage, forcing Ubi to make a new Rayman platformer every 2-3 years.
Everybody wins.

For once, I agree with spiraldoor.

Except Rabbid fans, and Ubi's families.

But they did say there is a possibility of this resulting in a PROPER Rayman game after this game has been developed.

We also can't forget that Yves Guillemot (probably spelled it wrong, but you know, the Ubisoft CEO) said that Michel Ancel was working on several projects. So far we only know about BG&E2. I say things aren't looking as dark right now, actually...

My respect for Ubisoft is so low right now I wouldn't be surprised if one of those projects was an entry in the Babyz franchise.

They also made the horror that is Who Wants to be a Millionaire on the DS. Nothing can be worse than being given such a shit game for Christmas.

... Either theres a new definition of the word "baby" that I'm unaware of, or you've just never played a rabbid game. Seriously, the way some of you guys hate these games are so over the top I'm surprised you hate the rabbids since you act so much like them.

You should see Deal or No Deal on the DS which isn't made by Ubi, but is equally made of fail. Ever played Family Feud on the Megadrive? [it's like Family Fortunes but American]. Deal or no deal looks like that, seriously.
I have a feeling this new Rabbids game will leave me with both sore arms and a sore arse, as well having to switch hands on games that need you to hold the wiimote to your ear.
