It's called MAGIC. Seriously though, his head isn't attached or he wouldn't be able to bowl his body like in Rayman M.

It's just why would Rayman's fists only be able to travel a few feet in front of him? It would be so much easier if he just punched the Hoodlums from long distance.

What's wrong with 5th dimension? It describes also this problem (Rayman has got "arms", but in another dimension, so he can make them more 3D, which causes they're less 5D, but at some moment they would become visible!).
