I go to the first spring at the start, then go up the ramp with the boost, then hit a purple lum.

I think he'll post more, then open it up when he's finished.
Yeah, I'll probably do that.

EDIT: EXCELLENT! I figured that with my new tricks I could improve my race time for Zenith Harbour. and that I have, by EIGHT SECONDS! I think I could still shave another three seconds off that too, except that I always stuff up one of the laps...
I also set a new lap record in the process.
Xenon, I'm still waiting for those race scores. I'm confident that you could actually beat me on some tracks, and having new records to beat helps me pass time. :P
More edit: I've investigated what you guys do at the start of Dawn Sand. I still can't say conclusively, what teh best way is, but through your method I have bested my Lap and Race scores. :P This may just be a coincidence though... I might play against my brother later and that will hopefully give me a clearer idea.

For a moment there, my brother had a better race score in Nebulous Tower, but I fixed that. I've found out a new trick. I might update the walkthrough. Might...
Speaking of which, has anyone actually read it? And if so, what do you think of it so far?

Hey guys, I found a video of someone getting a lap time of 00:33.839 and a race time of 01:45.625 in first ruins.

EDIT: Also, it tunrs out that all the tracks in Rayman Arena (as opposed to M) are easier and dunbed down, so we can't count scores from Arena. Electric Final is amazingly easier, I think you could drop 10 seconds off our scores in arena, which could easily explain this:
Xenon wrote:Apparently Cut managed to complete a lap in Electric Final in 00.52.00. How convenient is it that he forgot to upload recorded evidence?

Think you can upload the differences somewhere? I suddenly find interest in that now. I thought Arena and M were generally the same in their PC/PS2 forms.

The differences are shocking... So we will not accept Arena scores? Ok, that seems fair. Unless Arena players are interested in submitting scores, there's no harm in making a separate wall of fame.

I haven't read it yet because I haven't had a chance to play RM, but at least I know it's there. :P

Is Rayman Arena available in German shops though?

Regarding the race courses, they definitely do look different. I'm pretty sure the boosters (which appear to be yellow) provide you with more acceleration than the ones in Rayman M too. And just look at Electric Final... the upper level on the long slide is so much easier to use.

There is no German version of Rayman Arena. I believe Cut was just lying.

I'll try to post my records next weekend. My training records are pretty good in most levels but I never bothered much with the races (I've explained this before). So my records are pretty uneven.

Cool, it'll be good to see some more records up there.

Oh yeah of course, that's definitely an option. What I meant to say is we can't be comparing them to M scores since the tracks are so wildly different.
I actually want to play Arena though now...

Infact, I might play tonight since I've got no homework and I'm home alone.

More members should submit their scores here, regardless of how good they are. :)

Maybe we could explore other ways to compete in the game too.

I believe I have both Rayman M & Arena CDs at home, maybe I could give it a try.

Oh right you edited your post. I don't think we're listing up Popolopoi and lum races though, but I'll add your training scores.

Big Bang:

As you can see, I never bothered much with Race Mode. I always found improving my records in Training Mode a lot more fun, so some of them are pretty good, whereas my race records are mostly awful.
