If you lost all continues, you can't continue, sort of. If you will load your game, you will have exactly same number of lives, continues and health as at saving.
This may not apply to password saving.

I don't find the password mode quite practical because it does not save the number of Electoon cages caught.

Still passwords were life-savers if you didn't have memcard, or if it has gone wrong.

I only used password mode once, years ago in a person's PS1 that hadn't a memory card. I remember to feel frustrated to learn that every Electoon cage had disappeared.

It's not like game forgets which cages you busted while you are playing though. Yeah, such stuff is possible!

Thankfully the fully completed levels get noticed at least

Ok so if I say I lost all my continues twice and go back to 5 continues I'll be uncheated again? I'd say I lost all my continues twice because I had 3,then 10,then 3 again and now 10. (I'vealready gone to 4 xD)

Some of my friends like Rayman but most of them go crazy over FPS games! Personally, i have always preferred platformers maybe that's the reason i like Rayman so much?

Violent games have been in the top of the sales lately.

In spain Call of Duty: Black Ops costs 60-70€...last Christmas (2010) my parents bought it second-hand for 50€!
Anyways I don't even play xD I'm now praying for a RO Collector's Edition for my birthday this year (It's in November)

I appear to have a great dislike against Call of Duty.
Platformers have always been my favourite. I quite like the style of the upcoming Mario game for 3DS, which features a mixture of 2D and 3D at the same time, something completely different. It isn't 2.5.

I dislike CoD, not because of the game, but some of the idiots that plague it, however, I'm not too keen on the FPS genre overall, but I don't mind the odd game now and then, the only exception to this is Half-Life, because those games are awesome.
My tastes lie mostly in the Platformer genre, with games such as Rayman, Ratchet and Clank, Jak And Daxter, LittleBigPlanet, Mario, Sonic etc.
But I also play games like some of the older NFS games (Underground, Most Wanted), InFamous, Sega Rally and Transformers: War For Cybertron.
I consider games like Portal (and it sequel) to be absolute gems.
However, even with all those good games, Rayman will always have that special place in my heart for being the game that made me love video games (even with its extreme difficulty, surprisingly enough)

I'm going to do something a little silly and bump this topic, because I think there might be some good discussion to be had.
Anyway, I remember once having to do a little HTML exercise, we could make it about anything we wished, I went and did a page on Rayman.

Yesterday, I shared music from the Moody Clouds at my Aesthetics class. I had to do a presentation about Steampunk and I needed urgently a good example of Steampunk music. The professor was delighted

Well, as this thread is alive again, I might as well post something that happened to me around this time last year. I was working on the school website, and to teach us how to edit and make pages, the teacher made us create an 'All about me' page. I couldn't think of anything to put on mine, so I just started writing about Rayman. When the teacher caught what I was doing, and continued to walk around the classroom while singing the Rayman 2 theme
