I can't get a PS3 now, it is 50€ more expansive than the cheaper alternative I'll optate. And besides, I'm sure that PlayStation 3 can get even more cheaper, at least 100€ cheaper. Just wait for the PlayStation Vita's release and the official discontinuation of the PlayStation 2. 2 years might be enough.

With some luck until November, Microsoft might consider doing a price cut in the Xboxes in response to the 3DS and PS3 recent pricing cuts. The current Xbox models are more than 1 year old already.

The current ones are black slim versions. Too bad the glossy finishing will be out of production now, at least with the matte finishing I won't have problems related with fingerprints.

Goodie. So many have turned to wireless. That brings me alot of relief. With little room I have, I had to resort to a highstanding bed to put my computer under it. So it's a good thing there will be no wires getting in the way.

I would reckon mine is one of the first versions of the 360 ever. I don't know exactly because I got it second hand, some years back. Before it got updated by an online connection (no, I don't have Live - I only connected to the internet once), its menu screen looked more like a book, with tabs, than a screen with icons as it does now. Don't know if that indicates anything. Also, the date keeps resetting to May 2005 when it loses power (I don't keep the plug in the power socket), so maybe that's an indication from whence it came.

Wireless is also an advantage knowing that my couch is relatively far from the living room's television.

Well, around 3,5 meters. I had to buy extension cables for my PlayStation 2 and GameCube controllers due to lack of wire.

Ah, then I think the reach from one wall to the other in my room will be fine.

Wow the Wii version is actually losing popularity You're making me think of getting PS3 or XBox360.But not when the next generation is so close! I wouldn't buy a new console,Haruka.Sony,Miscrosoft and Nintendo are already preparing PS4,XBox720 and WiiU.I'd wait althrough you would get a diffferent version of Rayman Origins...I'll get RO for Wii and I think that HD or not HD is a stupid issue.It'll be fun anyways and I don't think It'll be a great difference,at 1 or 2 meters from my TV.

Nothing guarantees that RO will be released to the new consoles, and there's one more thing: I do not want to wait more time to play Rayman Origins.

I've been waiting for Guild Wars 2 since it's first announcement, and that was 5 years ago. I can wait.

And I'm waiting for a real return of Rayman since October of 2003.

We have all waited for Rayman's big return... *sniff*

But Guild Wars 2 is going to be amazing D: Rayman has earned his place in my heart, but I'm way more excited about that game than Origins.

I want to give priority to the Xbox version. Later if I am economically able, I'll get the 3DS version.

PS3 will be my first pick, seeing as that's the HD system both me and Stacey are on.
After that it all depends on whenever I decide to buy a 3DS or Vita in the future but which ever one I decide on I'd also buy it for that to play it on the move.

Seriously, are they making an Xbox called '720'? How unoriginal... and I never really got what the 360 in the newer Xboxes implied; maybe that there are no more 2D arcade games available for it, like the Midway Arcade Treasures game... wow, that had a lot of fun stuff on it that I can now no longer play because of incompatibility.

Microsoft haven't announced their next console yet, not even a prototype name (like how the Kinect was first called Project Natal) so 'xbox 720' is just a silly name spread around so people know they mean 'the next xbox'.

I'll get Wii and later I could get 3DS after i get a 3DS
