I've got only one question...
In Rayman Origins, are we going to know more about the history of Ly and Tily too? In other words, do Ly and Tily will appear in Origins?

well, at least we all share the same question of the different teensy costumes, but please, stop complaining about questions made by other people, I know those are stupid, but let's try to be tolerant.

Where did you get this one from? and please don't say IGN, because all they have is speculation regarding the PC version, nothing else.

Anyway I think it's an important question for all the Rayman fans who don't have a next-generation console and still wants to play the game (like myself), so I'll ask it again - Will you release Rayman Origins for the PC as well? and if so, when do you plan to do that?

I also have a question for the interviewers: when will the interview take place?

Hey guys I'm just thinking
Rayman Origins is coming out in what, three months? A lot of these questions are about the immediate contents of teh game. But in three months we'll have all those answers anyway.
It seems to me that asking questions like "what's going to be in the game?" would be a total waste of a question. Shouldn't we be asking things which won't be explained just by playing the game? We can ask about Ancel's creative processes, scrapped concepts, the future of the Rayman series, secrets about existing games we still haven't quite gotten a grasp of...
We may not get the chance to ask about these sorts of things again in the near future or even ever, and there's a limit to the amount of questions we can ask. But hey, if you can't wait three fucking months to find out who the final boss will be or why the teensies wear different clothes* why not waste this opportunity?

Conclusion: Don't waste this chance for knowledge by looking for answers we're going to get anyway.

Think of something a little more insightful please people.
That's reasonable isn't it?

*Seriously if that makes the interview I will punch someone, I don't care how many people ask for it.

Four months and a half e.e and I have no more important questions because I have remembered Rayman some weeks ago and I don't know misteries or things like that. All mistery I wanna know is if analizing Rayman Origins with WiiScrubber i'll find the textures to make an uglette texture xD seriously,I think Uglette should appear in any way,she just appeared in Rayman 2 and she's supposed to be Globox's wife!

Hmmm, that's good idea actually. There must be lots of stuff he never got to use from the original Rayman 2 as well as Rayman 4. Not sure though if we should ask about scrapped concepts in general, or if we should be more specific.

I think that questions about early concepts were done in this topic already.

I would personally like to know if Ubisoft could in future release as bonus contents/unlockables the early scrapped version of SNES Rayman for example.

Can I take a look at the images of that early concept? I've never seen that before

I don't know if this would be a good game but no doubt this has better graphics that Mario Bros. for SNES...Rayman always beats Mario xD

So. Gasillion of questions, but they may be interesting.

1. At which moment of development did you decide to replace the "downloadable episodes" with traditional distribution? Was this caused by sales of similar products, or by size restrictions?

2. All Rayman games, especially 2D ones, benefited from fact Rayman has no limbs. Given different rasterizing methods used today, does RO still benefit from it?

3. Would UbiArt support sprite based 3D? (Like in Doom? Or SNES F-Zero without floor?)

4. How much of the team worked on other Rayman games, and which? What part of team is that (programmers, modellers, designers)?

5. Did you consider different format of Rayman's return?

6. Are you already planning what will you do if "boss's office" will find RO giant financial success? (ports, quasi-SMG2 sequel, "full" sequel, more traditional Rayman game)

7. Do you know who will distribute game in Poland and will they sell edition with OST?

My questions:
- In Rayman 3 Murphy said to Rayman - "See you in Rayman 4!". Will be Rayman 4 in 3 dimensions, like R2-R3? Are you have any ideas?
- Rayman already announced for PS3, XBox 360, Wii and Vita. But also long time ago you have considering PC. Will we take PC-release? Many fans, especially in Russia, very want play it on PC. I sure, they don't will download that beatiful game on torrents, and I can to promise that I necessarily will buy legal copy RO for PC

Can we expect to see Globox in Rayman Origins? :proud:

Seriously though I'd like to know if he's planning on making this some kind of prequel series rather than standalone prequel. You know, like Star Wars.

He's referencing a certain dumbass from a forum who asked this question :oops2:

EDIT: Well the 5 of us got our answer, so my only question left is this:
In single player (or even multiplayer) is it possible to choose a character you would prefer to play, eg. in single player play as Globox, smiliarly to the newest trailer?

Here's the part of the article you'll find interesting:
Rayman visits his house between levels. These stories are more than just plot, however, as they’ll apparently unlock those characters and make them selectable. We’re told there will be between 10 and 20 different characters in all, although these will reportedly be variants on the same three themes, including four Rayman variants (including Dark Rayman from the first game), four Globoxes (including a red version of Globox, which was apparently his original color before eating a poison berry) and an undetermined number of teensies.
So, I think the answer to your question is... yes!

This is the answer to my and four other people's question, so I saw that, and I'm more interested about playing as other characters, not skins in 1P so sorry but that's no answer.

The trailer shows exactly this, so the answer is obviously yes.

As much as I'm terribly afraid of replying to Spiral, the trailer doesn't really tell me much. The effect of there only being Globox may have been just created for the trailer somehow, for some reason. I just want to make sure.
