The Twilight movies are so bad it's a miracle I survived watching all three of them.
The first two were terrible, but the third one surprisingly had better acting. I'm curious to know how the two parts of #4 will turn out, considering the amount of time they've put into it (as opposed to six months for the others). I hope it's of good quality so the series won't be utterly shamed into denial and shipped off to Omega 3 for Melvar to play with. After all, the books were decent. They weren't great, but they certainly weren't terrible.Tobbe wrote:The Twilight movies are so bad it's a miracle I survived watching all three of them.
I have no problem with fictional stories that make claims about secret organisations. What I don’t like is stories that take established horror traditions, such as the vampire, and warp them into sappy, creepy love stories for teenaged girls to fantasise about.RayFan9876 wrote:Stories do this kind of thing all the time. Look at The Da Vinci code, look at National Treasure, they both made their own claims on secret organizations. I don't see the problem with creating your own fictional story that includes your own takes on fictional mythology, be it light or extreme. It's not like this is overwrinting the original profile of a vampire.
From what I’ve heard, the books are atrocious; the ramblings of a sexually-repressed Mormon housewife with a feeble grasp of the English language.RayFan9876 wrote:The first two were terrible, but the third one surprisingly had better acting. You think turning into a great big dirty beast with no control over your own body is better than being an immortal Christopher Lee?ikke471 wrote:i would rather be this:

to be honest...
In all fairness, the premise of this thread is pretty ridiculous. Turning it into a vampire vs werewolf discussion with some Twilight critiquing on the side has certainly livened things up.Superlol wrote:Holy shit can anyone stop derailing this thread? Thanks spiral.
Nobody said anything like that, except perhaps in your imagination.Superlol wrote:Why the fuck some threads always have to end in ''This is better than your opinion i'm better than you piece of shit.'' It freaking annoys me.
I'd rather pick the winged, immortal and invincible one.ikke471 wrote:i would rather be this:
